I just inherited my grandfathers Sentinel R 103 6in. It's in pretty good shape but not as nice as this example. I happy with it and I'm glad to have it in my collection.

Just picked up a Sentinel R 103 .22 Revolver (9 shot) Snub at a LGS today for $300. My first revolver, haven't shot it yet but man I play with it a lot! What a great feeling

Nice review of a truly solid item. Hard to believe you got ZERO reviews since 2014. All I can guess is that people want to see holes in paper... but I don't know. With this 22, tight groups are just not an issue. It shoots as tight as my Smiths and Rugers, all day. Old, maybe but high value for money. Buy it to shoot, not just an heirloom. Under 2" at 25 yards all day. They can't be worn out. Thanks, NWO!

Any idea what I can do if my cylinder sticks randomly? I'm not sure why because it runs smoothly in dbl action when it is empty so my only thought is that the shells are backing up in the cylinder after they discharge and they are getting hung up on something when you go to putt the trigger and cycle the pistol. Is this a common issue?

Got the same model from my father in law, but it can't even make a hammer strike, is it the hammer spring is the problem?
@NewWorldOrdnance3 жыл бұрын
It’s possible. Numrich website should have a parts diagram you can use that to disassemble it and check parts for wear or breakage or have a competent gunsmith do it.

@@NewWorldOrdnance thanks a lot, yes, i think its better to let the gunsmith look over it, stay safe my friend😊

Have an R 100 I got in a box. In parts. Every once in a while I try to get it together and working. So far, no success. The 100 uses a trigger spring plunger instead of a leaf spring and no matter what I do the hammer only comes back half way. not going to give up. It has become a game, me against the machine.

I have one that my father gave me. It was his father's. I still enjoy shooting it.

Does it ever get hung up when shooting it in double action? Mine gets hung up randomly at first i though that Maybe i wasn't letting the trigger fully go forward to the relaxed position because if you dont release it fully until the forward "click" it won't let you pull again. But then it still got hung up on the next shot. Its also not something that happens 100% of the time so im also thinking that maybe the shells are getting pushed back some after discharge.. also I keep the 9th shell spot open and the open spot in front of thw hammer when its in the house because im not sure if its old enough to discharge if dropped. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do got mine from my father. I dont know to much about it but it is fun to shoot
