그래서 낚시대는 공산품에 속하지 않습니다. 제작자의 숙련도를 기준으로 99%가 수제로 만들기에 아무나 함부러 칼국수 말듯이 말아서 낚시대라고 못팝니다. 물론 일부 조구사는 그렇게 만들고 팔아먹지만 말입니다. 중저가 낚시대는 조심해야 합니다. 국산은 특히.

I bought a Korean 13,5 '' carbon rod 10 years ago So well made and casts like a dream I have quite a few rods but this is my favourite Made in Korea is now my tackle favourite

Sept. 13, 2022---Thanks for the video as I never knew the steps needed to make a modern day fishing rod.......and at reasonable prices. I have 4 Fenwick rods, the first I bought in 1977 when I got stationed at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. Used it to catch salmon, though I never did hook a king salmon. Then while stationed at Beale AFB, California, bought a ultralight Fenwick rod that someone at Kmart had mismarked for $10??!! Normally, they were going for $40+. When I got out of the Air Force, moved to Nevada and found a store which sold a lot of stuff relating to the outdoors. Picked up a medium and light duty Fenwick for $10 each??!! Used, but still in great shape. So if you buy and take care of a quality rod, it'll last you a lifetime.

In korea ..to get the job session that required some skills, it takes times around 10 up to 15yrs...they are really skillful and the city where this manufacturer locates ,there are a lot of fishing companies near by as I remember when I was in korea...

I was in S. Korea in 1985 and before I left I visited a factory in Seoul. I had a couple of rods made, one for myself and one for my son. I am not sure if this is the same factory on not, but the operation then is like the one in this video. Everyone worked together to make a fine item. The only issue I had with it was that it just proved that I was not a fisherman. My son loved his so I gave him mine also. I enjoyed the visit to the factory very much.

Great video. Setting the tip top after finding the "spine" of the blank truly separates short run rod blank batches from the mass produced product. It takes a lot of time to roll each blank and set your tip top accordingly but it makes the rod more balanced and perform better whether in conventional or spinning configuration.. During the rolling process the rod designer can add additional patches of carbon cloth to alter the action of the rod blank as well. Its really neat from an engineering perspective.

@@saveroomfor Its basically the seam where the rolled blank material comes to an end on the mandrel. When you roll the cloth on the mandrel the spine is created by the end edge of the cloth at the end of the rolling process. You can roll the blank in your palm and it will take a "natural set" along the spine, You can do it with any blank or finished rod. It is really easy to do after a couple times. 98% of factory rod's tip tops are off spine.

I watched a video about this great Korean company a couple of years ago. It seems they have added more mechanization to speed up the process and ensure quality control. Very impressive. I wish a distributor in Indonesia would sell their rod blanks for the custom rod market. A lot of a Made in Korea labels are showing up here lately, both reels and rods. Hopefully we'll see more in the future.
