2nd goal by Foord was a ripper. Cut back in and finesse shot from top of the box. Had real Mbappe vibes. Quality stuff.

That 4th goal was a thing of beauty. Foord drops the ball and continues the run, Kerr centers to Van Egmont who makes a beautifully weighted pass onto Foord's left foot. That's the kind of football I love to watch. That's the kind of football the Matildas in England, Sweden, France, Norway, Denmark and Spain are now used to playing.

I have no idea if that was Sweden's best side, but it doesn't really matter because 4-0 is excellent even if was against their reserves.

No, it was far from their best side. Not their "reserves" exactly but they were without some of their very best players: Rolfo, Asllani, Hurtig, Glas, Seger, Lindahl. Game breakers. A bit like a Matilda's side without Kerr, Foord, Raso, Catley & Carpenter... (Carpenter *is* currently out and sorely missed of course)

Only a friendly and Sweden are on the wrong side of the world but that was near perfect from the Matildas. One swallow doesn't make a summer but that was pretty sweet.

Just a one off friendly and they were without many of their best players. It's a good result but it would be a mistake to read too much into it
