I really enjoy this channel. I have my late father's Mercedes E280 Saloon. I'd love to take it to Mike the Magician to sort out some minor paint and a buff. Maybe an alloy refurb. I also have his old Bentley Eight. Only 37,000 miles from new (1989). My modern in a 12,500 mile 2021 V90 VOLVO. Mint.

The green Range Rover, put the key in the drivers lock. Next turn the key full left holding the lock button and count your 10 then release. From there if the battery is ok then the remote should work.

Put the plastic hexagonal hard standing down in your front garden. The grass will grow through and visually look the same but will take cars if/when necessary.

I would use the SORN system to cut some of the costs - even 3 months at a time on some of them. The AMG cars should be SORN over the winter to protect them from the salt. It is a great collection but a lot of money tied up - but you work hard so enjoy it.

I'm with you. I have my 2 "summer cars" SORN'd for at least 6 months. I also have a "tip trip" Corsa that is mostly SORN'd too.

Great looking driveway, Matt. That bit of grass alongside the garage - oooh, that looks ripe for a nice garage extension. You could turn it into a triple garage, with plenty of room for getting in & out your cars, control the humidity in there, insulate it, make it fully vermin-proof and then you'll need another car to fill the extra space! Garage space is a premium for our lifestyles and climate in the UK, so I'd see it as a worthwhile addition to your property. Pop a little home office on the first floor and you might even be able to offset some of it against your tax liability. Really cool video. Thanks Matt 👍

An excellent example of why your channel is so successful. You've got great on-screen presence, and you make your points clearly & authoritatively. You also show your passion for your cars and share with us - your loyal subscribers - why these vehicles excite you. Excellent infortainment. PS: I would completely agree with that the XKR is so "you": understated, with grace, pace & a touch of class. I also get - but don't share - your liking for Range Rovers: they're costly hobby, though Matt.

Thanks for posting Mat, I just treated myself to some new wheels. I bought a Specialized Allez road bike off facebook market place I didnt need finance as it only cost £160. We all get pleasure from differnt things and its a good job we are not all the same isnt it ? Take care Andy

Matt , tip for avoiding rodents chewing through wiring. I am in Canada so the product name may be different over in your part of the world…Downy fabric softener sheets, the ones that you put in the dryer when drying clothes . An added bonus if that your engine bay has that just laundered smell!!!! Seriously they work

Hi, just seen the Plymouth Blue Range Rover Classic. My Dad owned that very car back in the mid to late nineties. Great to see it's going to be fully restored. I will watch the lovely old girl's restoration. 😊 Great channel by the way.

Great content Matt, thanks for your down to earth presentations, good luck with the business in 2024. I have a passion for the Aston Martin DB9, please consider that for your you tube shows idea. I went to an Aston Martin day in Stamford some years ago and a chap had a DB7 vamped up with rotating plates and water pistols in the indicators. He ran it for charity and you could get some great publicity from such a fun project. Whatever you decide to do, it will be great. Keep having fun, it is infectious.

I have had a Range Rover fetish since I started watching your videos. The Vogue on the ALX video has come down to £18990. I'm happy to spend that sort of money for bombing around The Highlands. My heart is winning the race against my head now! What an amazing car collection you have.

So you need to sell 25 cars at 1k profit per car to compensate for the 25k loss in equity in the RR Sport. By any rational business metric that was a bad decision and that's before you throw in the running costs, insurance, road tax and repairs. A flight of fancy, as you say best gloss over it !

Hi Matt, I have two very helpful and one presumptuous suggestion for you. Thanks for the tour of your garage. You may want to put bumper strips on the walls of your garage ASAP to avoid any scratches. Second, we have a product here in the US which looks like a plastic grid which you put into the top of your lawn. It will allow you to drive on the lawn even when wet but still allow you to have a green space. My very presumptuous suggestion? Why not sell off both Mercs & buy a newer one with modern electronics. That way you'll have the best of both worlds and perhaps money left over. Disclaimer: I am American so cannot totally escape being presumptuous. 😂 Cheers, from New England

Hi Matt. A suggestion for you, if you have still have the problem with the central locking from your Range Rover. You can try to put the key in the ignition, put on the contact but not starting the car and press the locking button from the key. I had the same problem in the past with one of my cars, I did that and it worked. I think it's worth trying. It will not cost you anything and maybe the central locking system will come back to it's normal state.

Im not a huge fan of range rovers but I will say this. I drove my boss's one a few months ago and the interior was INCREDIBLE ( was a autobiography) and the ride was really good. Perfect London tractor!

Totally agree with you about people who don’t own Range Rovers or never driven one and there negativity, personally I wouldn’t drive anything else but Range Rover , I’ve got a standard 2006 Focus ST which I just use to travel work and back but our velar is hands down pure luxury , comfortable , and it will go anywhere , on any terrain in any weather .

Happens with absolutely everything. I own a few high-value Bremont & Omega gold watches...whenever I leave comments reflecting this, guaranteed someone wants me to slag them off in an attempt to ruin my day. Or even one of my daily watches, Tudor BB GMT S&G....people are forever telling me how it's a "poor man's Rolex GMT-Master II rootbeer." Or my 2023 RS5 Vorsprung coupe....I should've bought a BMW M4 apparently. ....& on & on & on¯\_(ツ)_/¯
