Michael Landon said in an article he believed in God. 'I’m convinced that everyone has some kind of hidden talent. God sees to it-it’s that simple. The difficult part for some of us is in finding the talent. That’s why I feel strongly that we must keep our minds open; we can’t let ourselves be discouraged or depressed when the talent doesn’t readily appear. Yet when it does, we must be prepared to grab hold of it right away. Whenever I think about what made that scrawny kid pick up that javelin, I know there was a reason. God was on that high-school field whispering to me, “Here’s an opportunity. Take it.” And am I glad I listened to Him-glad I trusted my enthusiasm-for I not only found my talent, but I truly found myself.

Some episodes are "a bit much" but over all the show is pretty good. I can still enjoy the occasional rerun and I've been an athiest for as long as i could think. Victor French is just a wonderful actor. Soooo expressive.

My grandma, my mom and me watched Highway to Heaven together when I was a kid. I was extra excited because I'm a huge Oakland A's fan and I thought Victor French and I had a special bond because I had the same hat he wore on the show. I would always wear it while watching. When the show was ready to start my grandma would say "go get your hat"

I first saw this show when I was an atheist. Even then I loved it, because of the uplifting theme and the reflections on morality and one's place in the world and society. A true classic in the History of Television and a show which can be enjoyed by people from all creeds (or lack of). This world definitely needs more shows with a positive message like this one.

Another Master of his time! This show was incredible! Jonathan and Mark were incredible! Thank God we had great television from the past, to watch today. Who knew how bad television would get in the future, as it has in these times!

Oh my goodness. I forgot how good this show was. And the intro brought memories flooding back to me. And what great memories they were. Of my family watching this together. Don't see that anymore these days. And what a loss to families of today. They will never know this wonderful feeling.

Hated this show as a kid, because i was too young and stupid to understand how truly positive and great the premise was. And how awesome was the chemistry between Michael Landon and Victor French? Two phenomenal actors. Its hard to believe how long they have been gone..... Great show. And thank you so much for the uploads. Like someone else said on here, "They dont make em like they used to."

Many shows back then had a moral message and this one was one of the greatest for it. Now TV is just one big depressing message of power tripping ego's set upon a backdrop of narcissism. 1984 so I was 10 years old when this aired. I loved it till the show ended :) Thank Michael Landon for giving me a fatherly guidance through this show when a father wasn't present, you'll always be remembered.

The nurse Leslie at the nursing home was the school teacher on Little House. Michael was good at recycling his cast and crew. Such quality, meaningful television back then; l miss it, our world needs it more than ever before.

A lot of the actors were starting out on Bonanza and followed him to Little House on the Prairie and then to Highway to Heaven. Also, Leslie is Michael's daughter.

I checked the Wikipedia with Leslie Landon and she was in Little House on the Prairie. She was not in Highway Heaven. She looked different than the nurse you saw her. Her real name is Mary McCusker. She was on Highway to Heaven part one and two in 1984 also another one in 1986. You can check Mary McCusker on IMDb.com.

Truly loved Little House and Highway to Heaven. Both shows were wonderful! Cried like a baby when Michael Landon died. I am glad that Melissa Gilbert went to see him and that they were able to put their differences aside. May Michael rest in peace.

I was lucky to meet both Michael Landon and Victor French on an episode they were filming in Rosemead, CA and El Sereno, CA. It was the boys club episode and I got both their autographs. They were very kind to me and nobody told me to get off the set.
