Here are all the English Mew Mew Power songs that were used in the 4Kids dub of the anime. I added subtitles for lyric and karaoke purposes. The songs go in this order:
Team Up!
Animal Instinct
Supernatural
Zoey's Theme (It's Here!)
Dance Another Day
Crush
Lucky Me!
Don't Wake Me Up!
Note: "Animal In Me!" was never in an episode so it's not in this video.

I love seeing the comments about this show. Even if ya hate the English version those of us that woke up to this early on Saturday mornings when we were kids knew what this meant to us. I often forget that this was really the first anime show I ever watched :) I watched it with my little sister and that worked out so well cause I thought Zoey was super cute so it was how I got away with what I thought was a a girly show.. huh and now I am 20 years old and can just enjoy the memories of that time of my life :)

GUITARISTm14 same, I totally forgot about this show and a few days ago I saw it again on TV and I almost started crying. So here I am watching clips of Mew mew power on youtube at the age of 20. I didn't like the English version though , I'm from Serbia and I liked the Serbian version a lot better but the songs were on English so watching this makes me really emotional. Loved this

This was my first anime i wanted to try watching it cuz i saw the thumbnail with a pink cute cat girl and i wanna try to watch it and i started eps if this and i got so into it and i invited my friends to show it to my friends and we were like a mew mew team cuz my friend liked renee and my other friend liked kiki and my friend's sister liked the blue corina girl and i like zoey :3 ahh memories

Considering the fact that the English dub was the only version of the Mew Mews that I had watched, I'll always be a bit more biased towards it but i still did enjoy Tokyo Mew Mew as well. It's just not the same watching it in Japanese when you've literally grown up watching it in English and have developed so many great memories with it. There's no need to go back and forth over which one is better, let's just celebrate our childhood regardless :)

me who lives in serbia: one part was dubbed from english to serbian and the other part was dubbed from japanese to serbian, so i got to experience both openings and all the osts in both language which means double nostalgia 🥰

4Kids couldn't sell merchandise for the show. Merchandise = no profits = not worth dubbing (despite the fact that the show itself was a huge hit when it aired).

Well... One, that would be nearly impossible, given that the episode nescessitates it, and two, there's no need to remove it. As far as a young viewer is concerned, that's just a regular TV tower, it could take place anywhere. The show never explicitly mentions that it's TOKYO Tower, at least not in the english dub. I mean, the deduction is obvious (it's a tower in a show taking place in Tokyo, what else would it be?), but since it's never STATED, 4kids is off the hook. Also, am I the only one who finds it funny that this show's title is a capital city and a cat noise? I mean, cats are cool, and tokyo is cool, so a mixing both must be a good thing, right? Yet, for a show named after a cat noise (and starring a heroine with cat powers), it's weird how there are actually very few cats in the show. The first 26 episodes don't feature a single cat! (Except for a picture of a wild cat) Cats only appear in the show after Zoey transforms into a cat. That's...strange. I can't be the only one to notice that.

Yeah, I wish they finished the first season, I can remember as a child wishing they'd play the episode where she was late to meet mark, but they never did.

Oh my God, the first anime I ever watched was this. Ill never forget being in 5th grade and at 2:00 everyday me and 3 others would meet in the boys bathroom and talk about the show. Some kind of Elementary, Anime speakeasy. We were all too embarrassed we watched this. I am still, lol!

I will forever have love for my first anime. Memories of watching on PopGirl is nostalgic. Doesn’t hurt that the English songs are really catchy. It’s time to give the 2022 remake a go (I’ll try to not be so biased). Don’t wake me up is still my favourite song and dance another day will always make me cry.

Dont wake me up honestly gives me chills, this dubbed version is my childhood, I would wake up super early to watch it on pop girl. The Japanese version is ok but the voices are a little annoying and the songs aren’t really the best. The English version by far had the better songs

I'm split on this one. The JPN opening and closing themes are more iconic, and the background music is better (along with the atmospheric silences). But the VOCAL songs in MMP are unmatched. MMP's group transformation sequences are great fun for the music alone. *Power Rangers' morphing sequences got nothing on this.* Not only are all of them bangers, but they're actually used effectively in the episodes, instead of being left on an album only (I'm looking at you, DIC).

I'm really not a fan of MMP, but I cannot dispute that some of these songs are really catchy and fun. Especially Don't Wake Me Up, I could listen to that for hours!

I wish 4kids dubbed the rest of Tokyo Mew Mew. This was my favourite series watching it every Friday morning before school. Yes people i was 15 back then and now I’m 29 and still love it!!!

The 4Kids dub got me to read the manga so I got to find out what happened after the dub stop airing episodes. Then watched it all subbed. So thanks 4Kids for introducing me to this awesome franchise

This was my first anime i ever watched. I started watching this cuz i didnt know what anime rlly was(japanese cartoons) and i saw humbnail of a pink cat girl she was pretty and i watched it and it was fun ti watch i got very into this show and showed this to my friends and they liked it to.

It could be all the edits and changes to the original plot of the story they do. But most people who complain are the older anime fans who've read the the manga and seen the show subtitled before it was licensed. Also the fact that they never finished this series made some of the fans of the English version kind of mad too.

This brings back so much memories- I watched this when I was little (like 4 or 5 LMAO) with my cousin who was 9 or 10 when it aired on PopGirl in the UK. I rewatched it 6 years ago and I kinda wanna watch it again just for the memories 🥺 Looking back on it now, it wasn’t for my age lol

I feel so weird for having remembered this stuff... especially Zoey's crappy little saying. And don't even get me started on Aoyama/Mark's English voice... Also, the last scene in this video with the wand... the dubbing's awful. When Zoey gets the wand, she's supposed to say a spell that she isn't even supposed to know (indicating that the wand is ancient and it's tied into the whole plot, etc.) But the English version presents it as just some random wand that Elliot found in storage or something and thought that it would come in handy... Also, they cut out the shots of Deep Blue screaming in pain because of the bubble-things hitting him, which makes Dren's lines in that scene entirely pointless... I feel like a real dubbing company should buy the rights to this show and make a real, actual English dub.

@chloeandpopcorn It's from the pilot episode/episode 1(originally episode 12 in Japanese). It never aired in the UK. I don't know if they thought that it would confuse the viewers too much or if they planned a DVD release with that episode as an extra but either way, it didn't air there. But one thing I find funny is that they used clips of it on Popgirl commercials. You can watch it on my MewMewInternational account. It's labelled as Episode 1/12(Its English and Japanese episode number).

@RainbowZebra99 It was from the pilot episode that aired first on TV and is also the first episode on every MMP DVD released(this episode was originally 12 in the Japanese version). For some reason(most likely to avoid confusing the viewers), that episode was never shown in the UK.

@SakuraXxXIchigo Yep. But, after episode 12, it can also be used times when not all the Mew Mew are there but only as long as Zoey is part of the sequence(like in episode 21). But when Zoey's not there, it's Animal Instinct(like the sequence in episode 24).
