Hike to Stairway to heaven in Copper Harbor, Mi

Stairway to Heaven is the main route into Copper Harbor on the east side of the trail system. It features a series of elevated boardwalks that guide you through rocky and steep terrain. Take it easy on your first time through to get a feel for the exposure and balance on the boardwalks.
Enjoy this 2.1-mile out-and-back trail near Copper Harbor, Michigan. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 51 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing.

Always special to hike with your children! My daughter took me on a two night backpack trip in New Hampshire last year. Looked like a beautiful place to hike.

Copper harbor down town,US 41 take a right turn to Donny Kilpela Memorial park. In parking lot you can see trail head maps and you will see sign on right side to follow. 💕🌳🌳
