Your videos are always so uplifting. You are exactly where you need to be in life. Not joining the rat race but being in the mountains with fresh air in your lungs. Thank you for sharing this on your platform and inspiring us. I will be hitting the Lakes more this year myself.

Beautiful video again with so much enthusiasm and great filming. You got me close to tears hearing about your Mum but I am sure she is keeping an eye on you and must be so proud of you. Thank you for the enjoyment you give to your viewers.

I always found that the right hand path up Tongue Gill was more pleasant than the direct route up the Tongue. Nice waterfall close ups near the top.

Well done you Alex. My husband and I just love The Lakes have been holidaying there every year for about 16 years. It is the most beautiful place in the world. In fact we nearly relocated and moved there just a few weeks ago when we sold our house but we would miss all our grandchildren too much who all live down south with us close by. Maybe someday we will get to live there and enjoy the mountain walking every day. Your mum would of been very proud of you I am sure as I would if you were my son. Take care.

As soon as I saw the notification I clicked, been waiting for Part 2, I defo find that I need way more food energy doing big walks than when I'm doing my usual walks.

Love these videos! Could you do a video taking us through how you plan your route & how you follow it - without getting lost! This is the one thing that massively stops me going out to places like this solo and would love some guidance!

Another fabulous video Alex! You are bringing so much pleasure to so many people who are watching this. I am going to the Patterdale area in September - an area I haven’t visited yet, so looking forward to that. I won’t be doing 20 mile days though, that’s for ‘mountain goats’ like you. 😄 (must chase down those white chocolate bars you mentioned).

Thank you so much Peter!! Hope you have an amazing time in Patterdale, you’ll be spoilt for choice with routes to do from there. The Eastern Fells are some of my favourite. Definitely recommend the Cliff Bars, they kept me going for the 4 days!! Thanks again for all the support Peter, take care 😊👍

amazing Alex, just superb. 👌🏻 We have missed you, hope you're ok! Really love your content and your happy friendly face beaming through the picture. The poorly stomach could have been due to the heat (a lot of people get it on big runs if it's warm) so maybe something to keep an eye out for if it happens again. Look forward to seeing what you've got up to next

Up Greenup Gill from Stonethwaite. Valley going down looks like Far Easedale. The most direct route from Borrowdale to Grasmere.
