One day, you will ask Deanna "where we are going?" and Blaze will be next to you "answering" LOL Nice hike, peaceful and quiet. Shane, you sound like you wanted to turn around with this little log in the way ;+P Man, that's a hard choice. I love the desert and Evan loves the Mountains. This turtle is so cute, but you guys are even cuter!

Hows your pup been feeling? The area looks beautiful! Love that you show the maps too! 7 bucks isn't bad. Ours in FL range from 6-8 per car load. Man everything on the trail is so green! Are you allowed to go in on tours in the mines? Really looked peaceful while y'all hiked. Love when no one else is around.

He has been doing a lot better, thanks for asking! For sure, 7 bucks isnt too bad to keep things maintained. No open mines for the mine tour that I know of! Pretty cool area though - Shane

Really pretty place for a hike. The mushrooms look like Chanterelles. If they are, they are a choice edible! They look fresh too! 😋 What part VA is this? I lived in eastern VA for 12 years. Xander sends tail wagz for Blaze. 👍

Oh man, guess I need to brush up on my mushroom hunting skills! This area is just south of Roanoke! Plenty of outdoorsy things to do. :) Blaze sends them right back! Hopefully theyll meet some day! - Shane

Wow, I have been planting trees wrong the whole time. No wonder that tree farm didn't offer me a job for another year. EWWW! (You know what I'm talking about!). I think she was as surprised as I was :)
