Today’s adventure finds me in Virginia near Fairy Stone State Park. I’m on private property, next to the park, searching for Fairy Stones. This property is open to the public, but you are not allowed to dig or possess digging tools. You can only search around on the surface to find the Fairy Stones at this designated hunt site. Hunting for them in the state park is not allowed.

.The fact that they give you permission to explore is enough my friend and if you can extract from the surface even better. The rocks are fascinating and more if you know how to see what many do not see. Greetings and blessings.

You are correct. I don't know of any other place that is open to the public to search and keep things. Most places say you can only look, but don't touch or take. Blessings to you my friend.

Amazing!! Thank you for sharing!! I had no idea those existed. I live 2 hours East of Salt Plains National Park. Been there digging for Selenite Crystals. 🤘😎💥🤗

Thanks! Yeah, there are lots of neat things to search for out there, just knowing what to look for and where is the key. I happened to be in the Virginia area, so I decided to stop by there to make a short video, but will be back to arrowheads on the next video. Thanks for watching!

Really Cool, I’ve had friends ask me if I’ve ever found Fairy Crosses while looking for arrowhead’s and I didn’t know what they were talking about, I guess this is what they were referring to, super interesting, thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I'm surprised they knew about them. One of my subs says that they can be found in more places than I mentioned, but the areas I mentioned have more of them. They are neat, but I like looking for Indian artifacts better. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Hey staurolite! I think I have seen other rockhounds post videos of the place you went it is definitely on my bucket list of places to vist. Great video. Also staurolite can be found elsewhere but the places you mentioned are the more well known locals. I have a couple staurolite specimens in my collection that come from Madagascar.
