Hiking the Cleveland Way - Part 5, Kildale to Saltburn-by-the-Sea

9 жыл бұрынA wet and raining day on the Cleveland Way. Leaving the small village of Kildale I climb up on to the Captain Cook monument and give a little history about the famous navigator. I take the loop trail up to Roseberry Topping before making my way back to Kildale and eventually taking the Esk Valley train back to Kildale.

Oh my gosh you missed it again lol. The road you were already on before you went to the Cook Monument is the road i was talking about. You can even drive through it in your car, passing through 3 cattle-grid gates. You were just about to hit it and then you turned off lol. I'd love you to see it and tell me what effect it has on you. Best going in late spring when the air is clear and lambs are playing.

Am studying your videos closely. Will hopefully be doing this walk next year.. am trying to plan the days my mother can walk with me.. so looking for easiest/flattest sections for her hahaha I am in NZ.. and i know what the savage tribes means hahaha.. the locals here
