I enjoyed your journey, I did the trail in 2016, living only 4 miles from St Bees I should do it east to west really so always heading home 🙂

Well done. I walked the route Sept 22 (14 days and hotel to hotel with luggage transfers). Planning on an E to W crossing next time - as I live in Whitehaven I can walk home and into the house when I finish.

Yo Keitei...congrats on the series and more importantly completing the C2C! The coolest part for me were the little frogs! Interesting how you felt more tired with the flat/road bits. Definitely with road vs trail running the roads absolutely destroy me.....just the repetitive motion I guess and as you mention using different muscle groups is a nice break for the body. Also about 16 years ago on a trip to the UK I was supposed to visit Robin Hoods Bay but never got there so it was cool to see it through the lens of your camera!

Those tiny frogletts were teeny tiny! Yeah I was surprised by how much the road walking took its toll on me, I was relieved when I saw a hill 😁 Ah Robin hoods bay is lively, very busy with tourists but I guess I got lucky with the 🌧️ rain, ended the trail without the crowds.

@@KeiteiVentures I was surprised how light your pack was. How well did the solar panels perform did they keep the battery banks top up. I though you could have used just the one battery bank?
