Hi , I assume it’s the DS-K1T605MF-B unit? , you can connect this to the network and use as standalone device or connected to software like IVMS-4200 ( Free ) or HIK-Central. That is the suggested method. If you want to connect it to the Hikvision access control unit you can do so by using the Wiegand interface output and connect it this way. on the Face Rec unit , please add to 4200 and then go to settings and wigand interface, please set this to output not input , and to 37bit from memory , ( not the 26bit one ) , then apply , you may find this setting doesn’t take so on the Face Rec unit then login by pressing the screen and login as admin , then go to interface and wigand and check / set the above, then you should find it will communicate with the ACU on Wigand

Hi . yes you can connect the Wigand output of the Terminal to the Reader input via Wigand, on the terminal settings locally via the screen under settings you will need to enable the Wigand and make it to send, then set the Wigand to 34Bit , then it will send the data to the ACU panel 😊

Hi, I have chased this and actually R&D have come back saying they cant supply it as its was a past firmware that is outdated and currently they don’t support this region for plate reads, I am very sorry ☹

@@DVSLTD thanks for your reply, i contacted both Hikvision UAE and Hikvision HQ china many times but everytime they pass me to technical guys whom did not respond, before purchasing i check its datasheet which was for 2018 and it was clearly said that support many middle east country including iran! even hikvision in its white paper about ANPR proudly announced that they support arabic plate number :( honestly i am getting upset because of their behavior. they even didn't bother themselves to respond! they just remind me to never ever trust a chinese company no matter how is big. i'm sure if this issue came from a european company they did not act like this, anyway as always thanks for your time and your great video.

@@DVSLTD its a pity. all listed german resellers dont care much about hikvision and more about their own stuff, mostly they own pretty old and odd stuff. their shops are from the first internet days . 🤦‍♂️ DVS cares importantly with high effort about Hikvision products and DVS has a appaeling modern online-shop. i cannot give you a little benefit for this? also germany is part of the EUR some hungary online-sites offer the module. but i would like to buy from DVS. may someone could ask hikvision for permission to sell there products in EUROPE? Or do they dont want to sell at all? 🤷‍♀️..a pity.. i will wait for a wonder 🎉

is there an issue with it being low light ??? have you turned WDR on , under the image settings on the web browser of the device??

@@DVSLTD Hi Sir, Many thanks for the reply, I do not have any problem with the light, even I increased the LED of the device to full, but still the device somtimes have problem of detecting the face.

@@DVSLTD I don't see WDR option in the image option, nothing under the image option I do not know why your options differ from mine it is the same device. Some times the device have the problem of detecting and in the end is showing message that is locked.
