@@SomeGuywithTools is that wormdrive saw on nuron platform? i checked their wedsite says worm saw is still on old 36v

@@davyrao Interesting... a new worm drive style is coming, not sure why it's missing on the site though... new model number is SC 30WL-22

This the video I have been looking for as a finish carpenter. On the jigsaw had a list of candidates Bosch, Milwaukee, Hilti, Festool and Makita. I have a Milwaukee saw z all is nice feel Hilti looks more professional . Now to get Hilti to make a sliding cordless miter saw 7.25 i am stuck between Metabo and Makita for there to be a Hilti i would purchase the Hilti.

Hearing the motor begin to slow on a single layer of ply doesn't exactly sell to me that these are corded replacements. The saws will likely beat most corded saws, and at that price point and release date, you would sure hope they would. But they don't look like they could keep up with the corded kings (Mag 77, 5007MG, or the C7BUR). Happy to be wrong though, just would have liked to see a better stress test or a direct comparison.

The makita 40v and dewalt 60v rear handle with its 2300watt motor already far outperform 15amp rear handles or worm drives. As long as the battery lasts anyways.

The dewalt worm drive replaced my mag77. I was interested in this saw about 2 years ago but there wasn’t any videos on it. Plus 1300$ for the saw and two batteries was much more expensive than the dewalt. Most framers made the dewalt move.

@@herbertherbomoore415 they’ll range from $84-$204 per battery… recommended to run with this saw will be $104/each (chargers are $34 or $89 for the fast charger)

Plus customer service is insane, if you need a tool repair your local Hilti rep will pick up and drop off to and from the jobsite

Hilti is Overpriced! Stopped using them years ago. And as for service, what a joke. I'm in Melbourne, a population of 5 million and they have to send it to Sydney FFS!! Up Yours HILTI.

I know Mafell has been a shitshow over there, didn’t know Hilti was a pain as well. US is a shitshow for Metabo and Bosch compared to Oz. We never got Festo era Protool either.
