Back when your channel was smaller and you released your reaction to Duality was when I DM’d you, I asked for advice on how to deal with something I was going through and tbh you’re a thoughtful dude. I’ve since taken your words and applied them to my life and I have been happier. Thank you 🤘 I have been and will be part of the Hefnerd family for a longgg time

Randy Rhoads is the definition of Guitar God/ Virtuoso. He was a classically trained God before he was a teenager. At age 14 he formed the heavy metal band Quiet Riot. Only to lose his life to a coked out pilot who wanted to do tricks in a plane. Ozzy Osborne to this day cries when he hears Randy's guitar. Watch Ozzy and Jack's road trip. They listen to the original recordings and it's heartbreaking. Love your channel ❤️

Alex Hefner Just a bit of info: That "Bad Ass Solo" was Randy Rhoads who was considered along side Eddie Van Halen as the ones who changed the way guitars were played in the 80's, i believe he was going to study classical guitar later on as well. Sadly those plans disappeared when one morning two band members and Randy with a pilot went for a joy ride in a small plane. They wanted to scare people in the trailers still sleeping, however the wing apparently clipped a trailers roof and they crash in a ball of flames. Ozzy and the team were understandably in shock, Ozzy and Randy were very close in the band and was said to potentially be the last time Ozzy would preform or produce music. He went on a major drug and sexual rampage, when he had finished it was still undecided whether he would continue, but with alot of care from Sharon and i think counseling, is why we still see Ozzy preforming today.

As well as the Classics as I was a concert trained pianist as a child & yes, that was my rebellious ass playing Bohemian Rhapsody... as a church offertory song! The reason I love metal and rock is because they will call out everybody., including the ones other genres of artists are too scared to. The media and politicians won't come after the hardcore rock and metal genres anymore other than claiming Satanic messages every now and then., because they got their asses handed to them in the 80's and 90's for making things up. Ozzy and many other artists are using this genre to wake people up. This is one of my absolute FAVORITE songs ever. The lead guitar is just....*muah*

Great song, but you need to listen to the Ozzy masterpiece that is "Mr. Crowley". Creepy synth intro, combined with Ozzy's phenomenal lyrics and vocals, and not one but TWO shredding Randy Rhoads solos make this one of the best songs I've ever heard. Give it a listen and hope you enjoy it!

Dude I've been listening to this song for... 25 years maybe? And I know it was at least 5 years before I stopped and said hold up this song is SAYING something. Watching you have that same moment was just wonderful for me. Great vid and cool idea for a channel. I dig what you're doing here And it's a good reminder that good music is good music. Genre isn't as important as quality. Props my man. Good on ya.

Great vid! This song came out in 1981 when I was in 10th grade… Randi Rhodes changed my life I became a metalhead and played in bands throughout the 80s and early 90s fun times! What’s weird is that this stuff was huge in the 80s I mean football stadium huge! This was Popular music in the 80s! Especially in the suburbs of Detroit Michigan rock city! Probably part of the reason for his eventual downfall as when record companies become too involved they ruin everything… Great to see you picking up on the same things we picked up in the day

Did you know that Randy Rhodes study classical guitar and pinatonics which helped created the opening riff to Crazy Train to emulate the feel and power of a locomotive baring down the tracks. If you like this you should listen to " Dee " . A tribute that Randy wrote fir his mother

Couldn't wait for this one. I just wanted to see your expression to Randy Rhoads and right at the beginning of the lead.....there it was!!!! Never again will there be another Randy Rhoads. And it's hard to believe it's been since 1982 since he passed away. I still mourn for him and wish I had more of his music.

Now that you’ve been introduced to one of the best guitarists ever (Randy Rhoads RIP), you should take a look at his successor, Zakk Wylde. Here’s a great starting point for that: Black Label Society - ‘Stillborn’
@backstabbath2690
@backstabbath2690 6 жыл бұрын
tbf Randy's successor was Jake E Lee for the same amount of time Randy was in the band though the albums he did( Bark at the Moon/ Ultimate Sin) weren't as good as the first two. Zakk I suppose is the successor in spirit.

I've always loved Crazy Train. The riffs Randy Rhodes plays when he sings the chorus is....crazy. You'd never think Ozzy could write but he can. Whenever I hear a rap band samples an iconic song it always breaks my heart. When I heard vanilla ice sample Pressure from David Bowie it hurt and now you told me another rapper sampled Crazy Train. It just seems wrong, taking a great song and watering it down when you sample it. That's just my opinion, obviously millions of people love these songs.
