Keep in mind, the Five stars are based on my needs for this item kzfaq.infoUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS When I first bought the bike I was going to return it immediately. After trying it out for several days/weeks I came to realize it is actually perfect for WHY I bought it.This is not a workout, the resistance is, eh, it makes a bit of noise, not loud, and it isn’t very stable even with the mat. The mat certainly keeps the bike from sliding but nothing keeps the mat from sliding (if that makes any sense, lol). Mine is place on my hard wood floor. Maybe it would be better with a rug underneath??I sit for long hours for work and wanted something to keep my legs moving. This bike does exactly that! For the price it is amazing, it is compact, easy to use, light weight, keeps track of time, calories etc (not sure how accurate it is) but good little product. I am happy with it.

My gym got one of these, and I was skeptical of it until I tried it, currently my favourite piece of equipment outside of a squat rack and barbell.

Thanks for the video and for describing how to strap in properly. I thought belt was supposed to be lose so I hurt my back yesterday, but Im excited to try it again the right way!

Remember , the goal of this machine is to target the gluteus muscles, which is actually hip extension. When doing this exercise, remember to always remember: extend your hip, focus on your gluts.

Hi thanks for this video .. I am having a slight trouble while using this machine ... when I buckle the belt on my hip bone and have higher weights I end up with really sore and painful hip bone and it I move it slightly upwards to the stomach it’s a lot of pressure on my stomach ... is there anyway to avoid the pain on the hip bone ?

One thing you could try is tucking like a hand size drying towel under the belt! Folded like a long rectangle ! Also try the belt like low hip, lower then you’ve tried- just make sure that you tilt your pelvis anterior during thrusts, don’t let that weight drag an arch in your lower back!

I use this machine but the more I put on weight the more painful the belt strap is...too high and it's going inside my stomach, to low and it feels weird. Should I be placing a pad around the belt now?

I would suggest this- yes! or a folded towel. It can definitely hurt the heavier you get ! I like to use it as well for a "B Stance" Hip thrust - which I don't go as heavy for so it's comfortable!

I started this equipment for the past 2 days and my hip is a bit sore from the straps, will the pain go away once I'm use to it or am I strapping it wrong???

this looks like one of the nicest machines until you step up to the Panatta. Otherwise the Bret Contreras hip thrust bench is what i would want to use or buy

If I had lower bad pain after using this is it most likely due to not being strapped in right enough?

Yes- make sure it’s as tight as possible and it could be that when you were performing the thrusts your lower back had an arch ! This will be fixed if you tighten your core/abs and tilt your pelvis forward to keep your lower back from arching !! You might have to lift lighter until you perfect that!! And also work a lot on planks and dead bugs for core exercises to strengthen :)

Why am I getting back pain from this? Thought it was a super safe from injury type of exercise and my back is hurting. I'm keeping my core engaged as well. What am I possibly doing wrong?

Does your hand fit behind your back? Your pelvis might be in too much of an anterior tilt- too much causing strain! Especially where the weights are pulling from under. If you do a barbell on top, instead of machine- does it hurt low back?

No!! Typically we lift less weight with this

My back still arches even on tightest setting, not sure if it’s the machine fault or just me

It's probably you, an arched back while performing hip thrust often means that you have anterior pelvic tilt (APT) so you need to focus on controlling your hips to get a good form before overloading the machine. I suggest the video of Jeremy Ethier about anterior pelvic tilt on KZfaq to see if you do have it

@@katharinaschneider6375 ??? a standard barbell is ~20KG or 45 lbs there might be lighter ones but anything you see in a rack will be the heavier one

The belt can be really hard on some hips. Try a folded towel underneath!

My lower back doesn't touch the backrest as I carry my weight in my bum and legs and have a small waist. Is this a problem?

You’ll have to try and tilt your pelvis ! So like to position it, our weight in your heels, keep back pushed flat down, scoop your pelvis so that your butt lifts then comes back down with lower back touching instead

I think i'm going to stop using this machine. It doesnt seem to have a safe rest at the bottom. So when you start loading weight and if it becomes to heavy and you drop out of the exercise you'll hurt your back. The smith machine has stoppers in case you fall out of your rep.

Bird Dog bands don’t equal a set weight has they are all different strengths. But sometimes it’s much easier to throw a band on instead of loading it with weights , especially during covid!! Easier to clean :)
