In this video lecture we have described the histology of the non-keratinized human oral mucosa. In the first part we have described the parts of the oral mucosa that is oral epithelium and the connective tissue. In the second part there is a brief demonstration of the various layers of epithelium in the non-keratinized epithelium and important landmarks in the connective tissue such as blood vessels and the minor salivary glands.
