Feeling unsafe is not the same as BEING unsafe. Weaponizing ‘safetyism’ is always used to discipline the racially dehumanized. It’s unacceptable and fundamentally marinating in racism.

Some of the people who abused this woman when she was a five year old child going to school will still be alive and preaching that racism. If you don’t teach history you miss important context. We are all our history. If learning about the past makes you uncomfortable that’s for you to sit with and examine.
