Some of the Warriors Rage characters showed up in one of the Days of Memories games (The one title that focused on the ladies of Samurai Shodown.) so they weren’t completely forgotten about.

I love your SamSho history video's. I never quite got the story before nor did I know much about the development. Now I understand so much better.

Another fantastic video! I only ever played the snes port of the first game back in the day, and barely knew anything about the franchise until I stumbled upon your series of history videos. I'm now playing the new game and going through all the other ones via arcade archives on the nintendo switch eshop, and I love them! Keep up the awesome work!

Actually, if you ever read the Samurai Spirits Zero (SamSho V) novelization, Yoshitora abandoned the Shogun position to his stepbrother Ienari instead and chose to travelling around the world in hopes of protecting the country from the outside, unlike what Gaoh wished for him. Hence why Yoshi's prologue in the new SamSho mentioning him avoiding his six lovers, he just went back from his travels aboard yet another potential crisis had risen. That decision to travel abroad was made by Yoshitora right after the SS5 Haohmaru Ending, when you could see them dueling (as promised in Haohmaru Prologue) only to be stopped midway by Jubei who didn't want to see both of them die. Afterwards, Haohmaru mentioned to both Yoshi and Jubei that he planned to travel around the world in hopes of finding more strong people to duel with and improve his swordmanship even further, which probably inspired Yoshitora to do the same.

Personalmente nunca he sido muy fan del rumbo mas oscuro que tomo a partir del 3 pero tampoco me disgustaba, sin embargo siento que con el V Special se pasaron con el gore mucho porque me parecía disgustante para mi, a pesar de que tuviera un muy buen gameplay y tiene a mi personaje favorito de la franquicia, Rera. Afortunadamente la entrega que vimos este año tiene el punto justo de gore para que sea espectacular pero no over the top para mi. Supongo que tengo una opinión impopular. Y esta fue una muy buena serie de videos, me volví fan de la franquicia hace unos años al ver unos gameplays de algunos de lso juegos de YT causando que se volvieran mi franquicia favorita de SNK pero me daba lastima que no le prestaran tanta atención como a KOF así que me gusto que hicieras estos vídeos para conocer un poco mas de esta franquicia. I like storyline of ss warrior rage, its dramatic but also deep in each characters most in sorrow situation. And yes that life parameter I dont like it, but when you mentioned nicotine caffeine also include in the story I dont think its true....theres one monk too but its not nicotine caffeine his name is Daruma....the drunken monk that taking care ran po and a lil girl ( I forgot her name )only nakoruru and rimururu is involved but not include in playable character list. I forgot how many total characters in ss warrior rage....only one and just one character I cant get to play its Oboro the boss that can control weapon from distance with his soul

With all respect, but one of the major additions to SAMSHO 5/SP was the inclusion of KENKI!! That little bar underneath the health meter indicating how strong the next attack would be. That was to prevent from spamming heavy slashes over and over again and was more fair against the CPU in comparsion with SAMSHO 4 where every next opponent was more resistant to the player's slashes. More so i find SAMSHO 2019 a certain downgrade in this regard (no KENKI or even forward/backward dodge move)

too bad the netcode is ass

I feel like Samurai Shodown & KOF have been the saving grace for SNK in this new gaming gen. They should make a sequel to Warriors Rage on PS, using the same engine and play mechanics from the new Samurai Shodown on PS4. I think itd be much better received that way.
