Sir, Can u tell me??? Why do we read so much material. We also forget material at the end of each class. We have to learn clinical skill that’s totally different. When u were md student. U read md books. Did u have the ability to diagnose a patient before clinical practice???? Medicine is also a changeable science (New drug therapy + new way of treatment comes in clinical practice). Then, Why do we learn so much material? The majority of students forget material & can’t correlate own memorized knowledge with Clinical practice. They also learn from senior doctors/teachers. We also follow the research of Europe or USA during treatment. Then, What’s benefit to read useful & more useless Md material. Clinical based questions are more important & majority of students find its new knowledge when they start clinical practice. Doctors become anger. When they ask students cannot tell. If, Problem in Teaching. Then, Why world doesn’t change the way of teaching medicine that’s based on more practice than rutta system (Memorization). Computer can memorize more than our brains. Practical knowledge creates new md knowledge, not theoretical knowledge. In near future, Robotic doctors are also coming. AI has defeated senior doctors to diagnose Lung cancer. China has made super smart CT machine to show minor details of body & auto fast diagnose. Most doctors aren’t able to pickup the diagnose. AI also shifting towards asking questions and prescription on drugs. Stanford university experts also say, MD books have too many optional items. Many authors have wrote book in this way that most students complain. We don’t know. What he actually wanna say???? Actually, Knowledge in md books exist in scattered form. What do u think. We should start clinical practice after reading core MD knowledge??? So that, Students will start to pick complicated cases early. Bcz, We can’t also apply own knowledge in clinical practice. Best doctors always follow latest guidelines. Good Doctors also know own limitations. If, They can give omega tablets. They should avoid to perform endoscopy. Plz give ur review on this topic.

I also know my Pakistani friend. Who didn’t get MD degree from any md college. He works under the instructions of a doctor. Now, Doctor has told me. Now, This person can perform appendectomy faster than me. A Foreign md graduate also learned appendectomy from that person (Not doctor). Sir, He also knows too many drugs. MD graduates don’t remember too many drugs. I know. This is illegal. But...
@deepthinker81533 жыл бұрын
@@surgeonjaved1 ! In practical field, Different doctors have variations in approach to diagnose (Even senior doctors) . But, We can’t pass any comment. It’s also include in Ethics.

Sir if possible kindly arrange a lecture on importance of history taking and counseling skills.bcx most of drs in this speedy life skip these important steps in general hospital and left the patients in wondering condition .which slow down thier recovery phase and effect thier prognosis. As without giving anesthesia you cant start surgery and workout proper stitches surgery never become successful same is the importance of history taking and counseling
