Mortal Kombat 1 - Where Are The Missing 3D Trilogy Characters?! Onaga, Blaze, Shujinko And More!

Hello everyone!
And welcome back to Mortal Kombat lore video!
With us having covered some of the missing character on the channel recently, It kinda sparked the question In my mind of, where exactly are the missing characters of each of those trilogies, what could they be up to now, and what may have become of them In Liu Kings New Era and vision!
Because with all of the character changes and alterations, its naturally caused abit of a ripple effect throughout the universe, as many character are narratively tied to each other, and with many of those figures having being changed from who they were, or actively altered by Liu Kings wishes, how does that change and effect those character in the present?
Well that Is what we will be talking about In todays video!
Now this will probably wind up being a small little mini series on the channel, as we will be working backwards through the franchise to analyse these character and know what’s become of them here, starting off with he reboot trilogy (as its the most recent), before we then tackle the 3D trilogy, and then of course the original line up.

Remember when we were hoping we'd see some of these characters pop up again and the story got rebooted again??? Yea very likely to happen again. For some reason they hate going pass MK 1-3 and seem to hit the reboot button RIGHT as it enters the Deception/Armageddon phase.

I don't know why chess kombat gets so much hate. I personally loved it. Then again I love chess & I love MK so combining them is cool for me. Motor kombat & puzzle kombat were pretty cool as well, but I liked chess the most

I did not know that, try to keep away from leaks when I can, the Omniman and Homelander reveal would have made me so hyped if I hadn't seen leaks. Big props to MK that they blured the tumbnail not so spoil it, the rest of youtube did not do it, those c@nts. I think that skin would fit and apparently I am not alone in that :D

Taven, Daegon, Hotaru, Kobra, Moloch, Drahmin, or even Kai would be great. I do find it odd how Rain returns but his half brothers Taven and Daegon haven’t been seen since the end of the original timeline (in game at least)

@@adrianotero3486 i get where they are coming from tho, the original timeline of games from og mk1 to Armageddon (low key mkvsdc but we ain’t gonna talk about that lol) spanned about 15 years then the reboot mk 9 came and generated so much sales and hype they that they wanted to try again with the “new era” mk1 . I think it’s a great game but they could implement older characters better than they have been past 3 games.

Most of the 3d era characters are dog water. I feel like they included the ones worth including. Only others ones I’d like to see are onaga, and drahmin has potential. The rest can stay buried or at the most be kameo fighters, do not waste an actual slot on them PS. If fujin counts as 3d you can include him to, but I don’t typically lump him in with them

Drahmin was from Outworld before he died and became an oni. If the fly theme is kept then he could work as a member of devorah race.

Can't believe Kia and Jataaka were killed off screen, alas. Don't fully appreciate how Ashrah is woven into the sisterhood when her prior arc had nothing to do with them, now fragments of her story are taken from Sareena. I want Netherealm and Orderrealm fully explored Aftermath story mode

It would be cool if blaze was like geras in this new timeline, an elemental construct who attends his respective diety, that diety being argus or Delia.

Likely hood of hotaru surviving the flood is likely, but at the same time since seido and chaos realm are one and the same as of now... Havik got the major win while the others are in their own struggles. Blaze, taven and daigon is straight up in the unknown catagory since we hit the Armageddon real early for those of us that played the og. Bi-han may not die anytime, canceling out noob saibots existence. Either way you look at liu kangs era, theirs just no telling of where or when these characters appear. Though if both shinnok and cetrion are indeed no longer existing as gods, least its guaranteed that should bi han dies the Likely hood of him ruling the niether realms is more likely now.

Does the soul chamber not still exist in the M1K Outworld? Why doesn't Liu Kang ask the Outworld rulers to use the soul chamber to heal Kenshi?

cause… why?? Kenshi isn’t Kenshi if he isn’t blind, that’s his whole character. He can still see with Sento so he really only gained a badass look from going blind so why would he give that up

@omarxperez Kenshi can still go to soul chamber after that if Liu Kang & the MK1 fighters take him there. Kenshi could see the entire first act & was still in-character. Didn't lose his eyesight until the fifth chapter. Still a plothole.

Maybe Madam Bo is a descendant of Bo Rai Cho? Continuing the legacy of training champions. That would explain why she knows Lord Liu Kang. I don't know....just a guess.

Mokap did make a little cameo appearance in Johnny’s chapter, after he finished shooting his film piece we can see Mokap in the background for a bit. That aside, I don’t know what 3D era character I would like to see come back since the ones left missing kinda suck. Hotaru and Kira would be okay but Hsu Hao, Kobra, the oni pair, and both Taven and Daegon are mostly hit or miss characters. I will say it would be funny if Bo Rai Cho does exist but as a different man named Ti Cho who’s finds Madame Bo Qi Lah attractive, just to make the drunk tequila joke come full circle.

The writers rush the script to the point this new Era is his dull and somewhat useless, could’ve started this new timeline with a new twist and went out either way a big bang to the point where it could’ve said on the screen “Too Be Continued “…….. MK1 preorders wasn’t worth $109 at all still mad that I was truly scammed by WB.

They shuld make the last dlc expansion called mk1 redemption. It can be about the earth realm mk tournament. You can have kai as a muay thai fighter with fire power and make his rival asian kobra as a new character. Kobra can join the yakuza with his girlfriend kira she can be a Japanese yakuza bike girl and have a mix move set of kenshi and balck canary. Leder of yakuza can be shu how with a new look and story. Dramin can come back as a monk and as the story on, you see him decaying and change from a curse. You can give these 5 characters a second chance of redemption.
