I grew up in South Philly and remember this guy through friends. I played basketball with his brother Billy who was killed. Billy had skills as a basketball player. I wish John and his wife nothing but the best and hope that he doesn't succumb to those past demons of retribution, revenge and violence...

It is strange that they didn't have a bigger gun than a 22. That's still crazy to take it in the head and still fight off two guys.

usually the best gun for that kind of job, not a lot of noise & if they were smart they would of hit him behind the ear instead of the thickest part of the skull.

you use a low calibre in a hit like that so it doesn't come out the other side, instead it just bounces around inside the skull scrambling the brain

I used to have a friend from West Philly, and he told me he used to ride his bike through South Philly. If the Italians saw him, they chased his out of their neighborhood. If you were Black, you didn't want to get caught in Little Italy. Those Italians would take it to your piece if they caught you in South Philly, yo!

I can say that we all have a past and that John is a work in Progress. I only say this because I’m speaking from experience. What is impossible for man is possible for God. We are His Workmanship. The Bible teaches us to Love one another and to Pray for One Another. We all make mistakes and hopefully John has made better choices since this video. May we all live and learn from one another. To everyone who reads these words I say Jesus Loves You, I Love You and May we look at John with that same Love. Shalom- 😎👍
