I don't know if you'll see this but I just wanted to thank you for the sheer quality and quantity of football related videos you produce Alfie. I fell out of love with football for a long time until 2020 when I found your football documentaries playlist while stuck at home. These are some of the most interesting and enlightening pieces of football content I've ever consumed on KZfaq or elsewhere. It's become a daily routine for me to listen to a video from this channel while on my lunch break and it's always one of the highlights of my day.

The history is interesting when a colonized country long ago became one of the Asian football beast with the likes of Mokhtar Dahari and 'King' James. How the league has been monopolized in terms of strength by one team that considered "mini Man City" as it was took over by the Johor Sultan, how the old dog, Selangor and Kelantan struggle to dethrone them. Sabah is also a team who's challenging them after an ex-Malaysia national team coach pulled a Nottingham Forest and brought a lot of stars/veterans. I hope you'll make a cover on this Alfie! 🙏🏼

I have actually heard of this club before this video. Spın̈al Tap had a huge gig in the stadion from Deportivo Nampula before their official reunion in 1992.

Mozambique is a beautiful country! One that due to its history and lack of economic importance has very little international appeal but I think it’s a hidden gem and the people are so friendly and fun! I didn’t think they had any football heritage so this video did fool me a little bit but learning that Eusebio did actually herald from Moz is very cool! I would definitely be up for more Mozambican content in the future though I expect it wouldn’t be a regular feature on the channel

Had me (almost) aalll the way. The thoroughness (and accuracy) of Mozambique's history was the big sell! The only thing that I thought was off is that I have a pretty decent idea of all the teams Benjani played for, and I was 98% sure he didn't wind down his career in Mozambique. (The other players and Cannavaro too, for sure, but the Benjani mention sent me straight to his Wiki.) It also didn't hurt your case that in the US, the video would have come out in the very early AM (read as, after I got back from the bar and before I went to sleep), so the reality of Fool's Day hadn't (literally) dawned on me yet. Great work, Alfie!!

Hey Alfie, could you do a video on what a United Ireland FA and or national team would look like/line up, etc. Ireland’s national rugby team is all-Ireland. The whole thing is really interesting and I think it would be a good video. There was a proposal recently (I am from the US, so I am not sure exactly when it was) about a combined national team. May I suggest this. Here in Portugal there's a club called Associação Desportiva de Poiares (Poiares Sporting Association) that has a striker called Ricky with who is the top scorer of any division. They play in Coimbra's Primeira Divisão distrital (it's Coimbra's second regional division but we don't know how to properly name our divisions). In Portuguese football structure it's the 6th division. At the time of this comment he scored 37 in 34 or 35 games (yup.... More than one per game). He's 38 years old
