I keep on hearing people when it’s discussed that England were lucky and got an easy route and yet they still bottled it. Despite this being the same country that lost and was embarrassed to a country with the same population as Coventry in Euro 2016. I would say that historically Fortaleza is a lesser club, traditional but much smaller than so many clubs in Brazil. They are nondivisional just a few years ago. They are traditional, but they were very insignificant in national terms. Goias, Ponte Preta, Santa Cruz, Nautico, Portuguesa, Vitoria Ba, Bangu, America, America Mg, Vila Nova Go. However, if they keep like that they will eventually get something for their merits, they are very organized right now.

Parma had one great decade but overall I'd definitely say West Ham are the bigger club of the two. Espanyol are certainly bigger than Villareal! They've only spent 4 seasons outside La Liga in their entire history {ok it's almost certain to be 5 as of next season} never finishing lower than 5th in the second tier! They've won the Copa Del Rey 4 times and been runners up 5 times...Not to mention having been UEFA Cup runners up twice!
