If you want to know if/when the heating and/or hot water is on, look for the solid green light on the receiver - at the lights under the hot water and heating...

It says 'now heating' on the top right hand side of your tab screen that's how you know the heating is on.

Can’t get my hive app on iPhone 6 to pair with thermostat. Batteries working, flashing amber, still no joy. Any tips?

It said that it was heating on the screen 🤷🏼‍♂️ surely that would tell you if it was on or not???

When the gas flame is orange on the schedule page the system is on and black when it's off. I'm surprised you couldn't see that and the gas engineer who installed it should have shown you that. You don't have to go to the dashboard.

hi just got the hive its all set up but i cant get the app to connect to the thermostat so i can actually control the heating with my phone the phone just keeps "serching" for teh thermostat . the heating is working perfectly using the thermostat and hub is solid green light too. any help please?

Depending on your phone go into your settings and find the Hive app and press "Force Stop". Go back into the app and hopefully it should link up (not saying this will work for everyone but it worked for me)

I had Hive heating installed with a new boiler, it worked OK for about 3 years & now its proving impossible, can I go back to my old thermostat control?
