Sir is there any way that HMT watches can be revived in the make in India initiative of our current government. If revived I firmly believe in your words ,it will not only regain it's position as the timekeeper to the nation but also make a significant name for HMT in International markets.

Namaste, very good video. Love your passion for HMT watches. And congratulations on an amazing collection, it truly is a labor of love. I am a NRI, and very much would love to collect HMT watches, and during my last trip to India I visited several local watch shops to try to find a genuine (original) HMT watch. Much to my dismay however every shop I went to had a variety of redials and franken watches. Funny part was that each shop told me that the next door shop carried "fake HMT watches", while theirs were "original and untouched". Due to this, I can no longer trust HMT watches and gave up hope of acquiring one. Because of the rampant fraud, lies, and franken/redial watches in India a collector can never be sure of the piece he is buying, and that is very unfortunate. I rather buy a vintage Swiss watch online or from a reputed dealer, with excellent record keeping and trusted sellers, it is much easier to find a original vintage Swiss watch than a HMT watch.
