I would say the hmt one is a better watch than kenneth cole or fossils automatic watches which are made in china at a mass scale. Hmt has dedicated expert watchmakers doing everything manually..

Movement is miyota 8204 (Manufactured by citizen). Pretty sturdy and trust worthy movement and probably better then what kenneth cole has.

Hacking movement refers to the fact that the seconds hand stops when you pull fhe crown out to set the time.
