4 ай бұрынwanted to get rid of most of the wobble it had and make it pull 50 cars . now it will pull 50 cars up a 3 percent plus grade. this Frankenstein is done. waiting for parts for the next build.

Hello Norman, pulling 50 cars is amazing and true to life for a freight train. I really like the locomotive and the advice. Great video but you do make me dizzy with the shaking and I’m old. LOL. Keep up the great work.

When you have a train that long and cheap cars with not the right weight it happens a lot. Part of what makes it fun

Thank you I am very happy with it now . I just wanted to get rid of most of the wobble and get it to pull 50 cars up that hill. Just waiting on some parts so I can start building my next one.

Is the difference between controllers due to the speed they ramp up to automatically? The Digitrax might get up to speed more quickly, putting more power out quickly. Or the output of the Bachmann power pack might be smaller than the Digitrax. Anyway, that's an awesome loco and train. And an awesome channel! Thanks for posting your creations for us to see! Just seems that the cheap bachmann can handle more amps being drawn . That train has 2 motors in it so I notice it more . But any of my dcc trains when pulling a long train the digitrax zephyr has a hard time sometimes getting it to move from a stop. The bachmann has a 16v power supply the digitrax has 14v you would think that would effect just the top speed. Sometimes a big load like 30 cars a train won't even move til I switch power packs. Maybe it's the size of the wire I used .

They pop up on ebay pretty often don't get sucked in if you see on unless it mint a rivarossi one is not worth more than a 100$ . I got mine for 68$ with the tender.

There is one on ebay right now for 117$ from trainz.com its a little much but not outrageous. It you really want on this is not too bad

Hi from the U.K. Great info your loco runs nice I have a ho Rivorossi y6b & have fitted a can motor but do have a wobble. could you please tell me which wheels you fit the tires on & do you fit on both sides .....Kind Regards Brian

Some have the traction tires on both sides some have only one side depending on the age one rim on each driving truck has a Grove for the tire
