The center two pairs of drive wheels could also have their flanges removed and that would help also, or add play to the them. Good luck with the project and I really impressed with your work.

Thank you. Just get a bunch of junk locos and start chopping. That's what I do . I like building locomotives that are not available or very expensive. A Mth 4 12 2 would cost 500- 600$ . Not only can I not afford to drop that kind of money I wouldn't even if I could. This is what makes the hobby fun. Thank you for watching.
