I never would have known about this sale if I hadn't watched this video! I went to Hobby Lobby to do some shopping and there was NO sale sign up for Yarnology. I pulled up the app and it showed that it was on sale so I picked up quite a few things. Only a few things came up on sale at the register so I pulled out my phone (Bam!) and we went through the items one by one. I was overcharged by more than $16. Gotta keep an eye out to be sure you're actually only paying the sale price. Just one more way to stay affordably crafty!

So glad you gave us the heads-up on this. I went yesterday and got some goodies that I normally wouldn't buy at full price. I especially love the little tool kit because it has a crochet hook measuring tool which is harder to find than knitting needle measurement tools.

I took advantage of this sale. I do like the Luxury ones. I also got some afghan hooks too. The lady said that yes this is the first time it’s happened on the hooks and notions. Couldn’t tell me if it was going to be a regular sale like the yarn is. Thanks for sharing!!! Have a great day!!!

Hi Kim!! Great video!! This kind of makes up for the no 40% off coupons......kind of!! It always came in handy for me. They said they would offer more things on sale, blah, blah, blah then inflation hits!!🤣🤣 Oh well......this is very exciting to me. Maybe the other hooks will go on sale too. I got some of the notions earlier in the week and I'm going back today for some more!! I don't care for the bamboo handles either. I like the ones you like as well as the plastic ones shaped liked furls. Thanks for sharing and you did a great job on the voice over!! The Lobs loves their music!! (I do too actually but I'm sure it's annoying while video taping). Hugs.

I have the yarnology ergonomic hooks and a set of the yarnology metal hooks and I love them. I'm still indecisive on the bamboo wrapped hook.

Thanks for sharing. Be careful with the snips. I cut 1 piece of yarn and the spring popped off and ended up cutting my finger. Spring went flying. I took the other 2 I purchased back to the store today. I tried that hook set and took it back. Hated it

As I have said in the past, I do not patronize Hobby Lobby, but I have a confession to make, here or I'm going to burst: I think the Yarnology hooks in the larger sizes that look similar to Furls Candy Shop hooks are super adorable. I've been trying to win one on GrannyDee's lives ever since I laid eyes on them because it would technically get me *around* the whole "I don't give HL money" rule to win just one and try it out for the feel. Okay, there, I said it. (I also think their yarn is perfectly good and usually very beautiful.)

I have the grips. They are okay but they do slide up and down after alot of use. I do like the squish of them vs hard plastic on some ergonomic hooks.

Funny thing I noticed while watching this video - The hooks are almost exactly the same hooks they sell here at the dollar store. Of course here they are branded with the store brand, but I'm pretty sure these are all made in china and then sold to all the different stores who slip their brand on them. The hooks look the same, same colors, same shape, same different variations - plastic, metal, ergonomic and rubber grip. The sets look the same as well...

I was just at my Hobby Lobby today. Yours has more than mine but I did pick up some deals. I have bought pencil grips like what you showed. They worked good for larger hooks because they were all 1 size. 💜🙏🏻

The hook grips work if you find the right sized hooks to use with them. They are not interchangeable. Nice sale. How long is the sale on for Kim?

I lije the hook covers but they don't fit real well. Many are slightly to big and many small but I love Susan Bates hooks but I like the large handles. They do not have a larger handle. I like the Prym resin, plastic types too but not as well as the Susan ones. I like a longer hook too. I'm getting spoiled trying many other types. I like the longer ones that's 24.99 over their others. I think they are smoother and faster. I tried them all. I like Clover hooks but think the shaft coukd be slightly longer as well as the length. I like the ones at least 6 inches so it don't hit in the palm of my hand. I use a knife grip and that might make a difference.
