Your experiences are shared by so many of us. My eldest grandson used to have quite a few meltdowns. He is going to be 11 in February. He was taught how to reset himself by the age of 7 or 8 but before that, he would toss his room and damage stuff. His mom was so patient and allowed him to fix his damages and move on. He is the most loving boy and very kind. But like you said. If the strangers would either help or stay out of it, things would reset so much faster. There are some real 'jerks' out there. My grandson would say, "Why can't they just be good humans?"

I'm so sorry you've had to deal with inconsiderate people like that. Since becoming a mom, I have become way more empathetic towards other parents. And even before that, I would never judge someone because they were having a hard time. I hope the rest of your week has been better! 💕
