Awesome game! Such passion from the crowd. I live a few kilometres from Loftus. That stadium rocks!! The Springboks are rated No. 1 and Ireland No. 2. Great game. The 2nd test is in Durban this Saturday. Go Boks! 🇿🇦🏉 Nice commentary.

The highlights didn't show how physical this game really was. It was really intense for the full 80 minutes. I reckon all players were shattered after it. Craig Casey got knocked out on the pitch too which wasn't in the highlights. Make sure to watch the second game this weekend... Ireland will be underdogs but I wouldn't write them off.

Oh they play again? Awesome. Looks like the game is at 8am for me, and my tv provider is carrying it. May have to wake up early for a stream.. we shall see.

There is a return fixture. Next Saturday in Durban achance for Irish redemption. The commentary is as excited as we allow a rugby commentary to get. We are gentlemen after all😊

Hey just wanted to chime in on why the announcers weren't freaking out regarding that try.... The announcers are British and theoretically neutral.

The Irish try was disallowed because the player who passed the ball touched the OUTLINE!

People talking in comments about points that would have been if tries were allowed and penalties were not missed... not realizing that the game would have changed ...all depends on the scoreline - teams could get even more drive and motivation from a different score... so can't base it on what could have been... also highlights doesn't show how intense the game was and the charge down by Springboks that resulted in Ireland missing the penalty

Hi Eamonn I was looking at World Rugby standings and to my surprise I saw Canada's women's rugby is ranked 2nd in the world, just below England and above France and New Zealand!! Wow!! So what's going on with the men's rugby because obviously your women's rugby is 🤯

Yeah from what I understand our womens side is pretty great. Similar thing for our soccer side. The womens are near the top and the mens are more in the 30-40 range. I have no idea why exactly but yeah.

The best try of the match was chalked off by the TMO. The ref was right there and saw nothing. If that happened to SA Rassie would make a movie out of it.

😂 Wishful thinking. The Boks handed Ireland that last try in the 78th minute on a platter! They knew they'd won, so they slacked off. And Pollard missed 3 penalties.

@@Driskyle Referee did not blow your props pulling down the scrum. Gave yellow to Arendse where Ireland should have gotten one too for negative play every time Springboks advanced, interfering with the half-back. What if coulda been shoulda been bla bla.
