Saw a lot of familiar names in this one today. Also saw a lot of names that I couldn't figure out how to pronounce! Becoming a running joke in my videos at this point. I'm trying my best. Let me know if anyone in this video that I haven't reacted to yet is worth a look. And if anyone was left out of this video!

In Fiji the C is a “th” noise. So Rupeni Caucaunibuca is said “ThauThauniButha” and Joe Rokothoko

Christian Wade went on the NFL international pathway before Rees Zammit, and nearly made it - he spent a couple of seasons on the Buffalo Bills practice squad as a running back. He's back playing rugby, currently with Racing 92 in France.

The Fijian 'c' is pronunced with a 'th' sound. That goes for both Caucaunibuca and Rokocoko. Although in New Zealand we usually pronounced it 'rokoFoko', but I'm pretty sure that's wrong and it should be 'rokoTHoko'.

Interesting facts Kolbi's cousin is currently world and olympic 400m record holder. Wayde van Neikerk. During 2023 rugby world cup training sprints showed the two springbok scrumhalfs Kobus Reinach & Grant Williams were both faster than Kolbi. There is another springbok player faster than all of them Sbu Nkosi who runs 100m in 10.56s.

One of the absolute fastest of them all was the USA wing Carlin Isles. I remember Habana, in his pomp, showing Isles 'the outside', using the touch-line as a "second man", and Isles simply leaving Habana for dead up the touch-line. Isles was playing the XV man game for the USA at that moment. Habana was rated: 'The Fastest' at the time; not so. The Welsh wing JJ Williams from the '70's was lightening too. JJ was Commonwealth Games sprint level speed for the 100 meters. He ripped hell out of the 1974 Bok backline, in the four Test series, as well as in the Provincial games.

The winger wasn’t Isles. If it’s the World Cup try then the player is Takudzwa Ngwenya! Played for the USA and scorched Habana. Isles has only every played 7s rugby 👍

I was thinking the same thing. Also Offiah and Cullen had the most beautiful style of running. They seemed to float over the ground.

When it comes to the Fastest, if you want to include 7s you should look at two Americans. Carlin Isles and Perry Baker.

Tonderia Chavanga. He played for the USA in the 2007 rugby world cup. He skinned Habana in scoring a try. I will never forgrt the commentators remark " And Bryan Habana is now officially the second fastes player at the world cup"

Tondairai chavanga is zim Born and hold the Recorfd for the most ries on Debut for the Boks at 6, He was ligthning and the fasted player I have seen live by a long shot. The guy you are talking about that played for the US was Takudzwa Ngwenya

If you want fast and agile people in positions which are usually attributed with speed and agility, check out the Irish rugby player Ryan Baird, he is 6ft6, plays Blindside flanker and lock and is only 23. He is one of the fastest and most agile forward is world rugby at the moment.

theres a south african player called tonderai chavanga runs the 100 in 10.2 seconds he's faster than all these guys he scored 6 tries on debut for the springboks also doug howllet all black winger was super quick.

Rugby union wingers have always been faster than league wingers, because they can be recruited from the whole planet. League is only popular in the Pacific, so it doesn't have as much talent.

1st there's acceleration, and then out and out top speed. Both are very useful. Generally rugby players aren't that fast compared to track sprinters. The fastest are generally around the 10.8 or 11 second mark which is extremely fast for a human. Less than .01% can run that fast. Doug Howlett was a NZ secondary schools sprint champ and could run 10.68s for the 100m. Bryan Habana was about 10.4seconds. Fastest guys were those USA 7's players who could run about 10.1 or 10.2 and they made everyone look slow. Even the "fast guys".

I believe in Fiji the "Ca" is pronounced as "Th" so it's pronounced Thau-thau-nee-bu-ca
