Hi Hogan, Does Wise offer a way to send yourself some money while travelling in a foreign country for cash pickup at a local bank in the local currency ?

Great information because this will reduce hassles with currency conversions in some countries. For instance in the Philippines most places will refuse Dollars that are older than 2013, dollars with a little ink blemish or otherwise. Not to mention the one million questions you will be asked and the payee checking each dollar 1000 times before giving you your money. Other crazy hassles too long for me to detail here. So WISE is the way to go.

I ask this because Wise asks about where I live most of the time and also what my phone number is for account security purposes. Well, I will be living in Japan for at least a year.
