My backpacking adventure has now taken me to Hot An, a coastal town on the Eastern coast of Vietnam. From leaving Quy Nhon on a 5 hour train ride, I got a taxi from the station and headed straight for the hose. After checking in, I went out to explore the area. I wasn't really impressed as there is not a lot to do in the area apart from swimming, beach sports or relaxing at the number of hostels.

Mate, sorry you were tired and it was a cloudy day but Hoi An is a complete treasure in Vietnam. The town is nice, the ancient town is great (but tourist-focussed) and An Bang beach on a sunny day is glorious. I’d spend the rest of my life there with a smile. Cheers Aussie Mark

The thing about travelling is if you like it, you’ll get the bug! I first went backpacking 10 years ago and I thought it was a one off. You should definitely do it now, for a month, then go back and grow the business and plan for the next big one. There are people who travel that are digital nomads, working and travelling. Could you do that?

@@olderbackpacker I can definitely do that as I run an influencer marketing agency and the team is totally remote we've done good in the past 2 years and scaled but I've paused almost everything and it's been 2 months because I needed to focus on my mental health as I've severe addictions and bad health choices according to Drs the only solution is rehab, which I can't, as what relatives, friends, team will think? I just don't want to label myself although im on medication but I just can't rehab! As I'm the only son of my mother and I was raised by a single parent, things are getting worse day by day that's why I paused but it got more worse bcz now I just procranstinate all day.... I've no clue what to do I've no clue how to scale company I'm just lost that's why I paused everything..... My Dr is suggesting to only visit UAE as this will be my first solo international trip and he's saying a brain like me will find opportunities there as I've been an entrepreneur for around 4-5 years (been into multiple businesses) But I'm thinking of a solo trip to multiple countries Karachi to Dubai (explore UAE) UAE - Bangkok (explore Thailand and cities) Thailand to Cambodia by road (explore Cambodia) Cambodia to Laos by road (explore Laos) Laos yo Vietnam by air (explore Vietnam) Either back to Pakistan or after Vietnam go to Philippines by air and explore and then comeback to Pakistan.... I'm not sure what to do as Dr is saying that'll be waste of time and money as currently it's not the right time for you to go on a long solo trip just visit UAE you'll explore alot that'll be enough for you in 7 days but I'm thinking of including UAE in my bucket list along with other SE Asian countries At the same point the budget is concerned I mean I'll be spending around $3500-4000 bare minimum in 6 countries in around 2-2.5 months that's around 30-40% of my total company's capital...... Idk what to do but it's been around a month I'm just exploring tickets, hotels etc on a daily basis At the same time I'm concerned what if I'll be in that pit hole again that I'm in right now after visiting these places what I'll fall back into my bad habits I've been to Skardu solo in 2021 when the brain was fogged I had no clue on what to do things were messed up I booked a flight and without plan went Skardu for 5 days it was 200% worth it! But I'm still in those bad habits and choices pit hole...... I think that traveling might be a escape as everytime I traveled when I came back I fell into same traps created by myself... I don't want to get my laptop with me as I just want to truly explore without working but I might get a camera and if not obviously I've a phone I'm so confused as Dr is saying just UAE I'm saying no all 6 He's saying by traveling to South East Asia you'll only gain wisdom which you don't need right now... You're just 22 you've started your life you can go back anytime there just go to UAE and explore opportunities Idk what to do haha 🙂

Don't go into a home. Much cheaper to stay home and pay for carers to come in.
