It feels like they started working on bolivia, decided that they couldn't finish it in time or that it might fit a northern andean DLC better and just gave us some crumbs I don't hate it, having some half assed flavor is better than no flavor imo, but I also interpret it as a promise of more south american content down the road If it never gets more content then it's just a slap on the face

I’d be surprised if they even bothered to make another DLC to round out South America, but PDX loves money and shit DLC. I can only see maybe four more DLC left: Middle East (Iraq/Iran/Saudi/Egypt with maybe Libya as a treat,) Southeast Asia (East-Indies/Indochina/Philippines/Malaysia,) Central America (Bolivia/Peru/Columbia/Venezuela/shared-Central-America-tree,) and “parts of Europe we didn’t do yet” DLC (Albania/Ireland/Austria + tiny tree for Luxembourg to say they did it.) We’re never gonna see a rework for Germany to fix the bugs. At this point you only buy DLC for mod compatibility rather than to play because I never play vanilla when RT56/Hearts-of-Oak/New-Ways exists…

I was under the assumption that all of South America would get a focus tree but apparently it’s only the Southern half of South America which sucks I was expecting paths for Gran Colombia or turning Venezuela into a regional power but no the Northern half of South America got nada.

I mean to be honest South America still sucks to play even with the new trees. You lack resources and have a lot of debuffs. While you become giga op in the end your spending the first 4 years or so of gameplan just building up and fixing up your country. Your involvement for where all the action is taking place by this point is going to be very very minimal.

dont you still need 80 or 100 world tension to declare as demorcatic?. When you play non historical, this can take forever. When germany doesnt go senior hilter, you have to wait until the big war is over and someone takes a bunch of land, otherwise world tension is to low

Hey Stakuyi, I just thought of the idea of playing Peru, you might not see the benefit of doing that until you realize they can form Gran Columbia and Peru-Bolivia Confederation and get cores on like the entire north South America without rebuffs. maybe give it a shot cause I checked and they do get both formable so could be strong.

One of my favorite games ever I played as Uruguay. I had the ultimate tech tree mod and it's sub mods and I made every country I could go fascist. I was at war with the entire world except China, and it took me from 1942 - 1950, but I was able to conquer and then core all of South America
