really intriguing how nearly every single change suggested here has to do with either creativity and community - for all that horizon markets itself as a massively multiplayer sandbox driving experience, it feels like they introduce a lot of features half baked and then fail to follow through with embellishing them properly. thoroughly enjoyed the video and agree with basically everything on this list

My biggest want is just to have more car customization (bumpers/bodkits etc) and make majority of it give some type of adjustable aero for fun gameplay

I would love license plate choices to be implemented, I personally hate driving with a British plate in Mexico. Also some basic features like being able to turn on or off lights, more pedestrians in the towns and cities. So that the game feels more alive.

My experience with this this game has been a bit… odd lately. It’s still fun! However, I’ve been finding myself logging off earlier than I want to. Mostly because overtime, the game becomes a bit dull. This video was definitely needed and I hope these changes, and others, get implemented.

It's frustrating because alot of these changes have been asked for for since FH3. On a personal level I've been begging and wishing for user created lobbies to return. I feel like that's such an amazing tool that could extend the life of the game. They used to have that tool In FH1. But every single change you brought up I 100% agree with.

14:18 I think one thing that needs to be addressed before the reporting system is DESYNCS. It is possible to ram someone while you are ghosted because you were not actually ghosted on the other person's end. Also, traffic not being synced can lead to situations where someone looks like they are plowing through traffic with impunity when in actuality they didn't hit anything on their end. Getting reported for dirty racing / cheating because of desyncs isn't gonna be fun.

I'd personally rather see immersive details that both Motorsport and Horizon has been lacking since the beginning. At the very least, start with 900 degree steering when using the cockpit cameras.

I would like to see more car search options (Years, Country origins, etc.), and Tune authors should have the option of unlocking the tune so people could tweak it. Edit: My thoughts of the checkpoint rework are that there should be a time penalty for missing the checkpoint. The penalty could be decided by how much you miss the checkpoint. If you barely miss it could be .5 second penalty and miss by 25 feet, it could be 5 seconds (Just examples actual time would have to be more finally tuned).

I think: 1. Make worldwide rankings the default setting in PR stunts, I’m sick of doing a drift zone or jump and then being told I’m “in the top 100%” 2. Options to more easily access Rivals leaderboards (like click x just after a race to view leaderboard), these leaderboard are currently hidden behind like 7 menus

Honestly, what a great video. I'd like more enthusiast cars vs "normal" cars but Motorsport usually does a better job at that. I guess decals on windows? Otherwise for the first couple things mentioned in the video, pretty much hit the nail on the head.

As a long time painter in Forza, there's a few things I would love to see added to the livery/layer group editor. 1, The ability to use different finishes for individual layer shapes. Such as gloss, matte, metallic, chrome. 2, The ability stretch or skew layer groups, rather than just uniformly resizing. 3, additive or subtractive layering. Like using one shape to cut out sections of a different shape. (having different finishes for layers would make this redundant though) 4, The ability to put decals on windows. I've been waiting for this one since the first horizon game. 5, smart object snapping to make text and other shapes easier to align. Basically like photoshop. Also as a side note, I don't agree with the adding the ability to import images. This would take away from the cool factor of people doing lifelike paintings of characters and such. It's just much more impressive and awe inspiring to know that every single design in the game was made from the same selection of basic shapes.

9:40 I think the biggest and most impactful change you can add to eventlab isn't anything to do with eventlab itself. We need to have a way to easily play multiplayer on these tracks. I don't mean creating a convoy, that's extremely tedious. I mean something persistent that players can join that only plays Eventlab tracks. Be it a "server" or a playlist curated by clubs or players. Maybe a voting system or something so if something obviously trash shows up it can be skipped. These used to be standard features in old games.

Unfortunately for us, the approach PGG takes with regards to this game is "minimal effort required to keep at least some players on the hook". Mostly through FOMO with endless challenges. So I believe that no quality of life changes will be implemented. After the second DLC they will "cut back" on supporting the game (like there is anything to cut back), and then they will promise us that everything that we actually want will be added to FH6.

i wish that they would make every spoiler adjustable. done. its not a super realistic game anyway and it wouldnt hurt the game

Agreed, it makes me nuts having to figure out which car to choose in 40 seconds. At one point I added decals to my cars saying what the build was for XC dirt street drag drift etc. Pain in the ass but it worked

to add along with aero, I think the WHEELS could be reworked because it has literally been the same sets since Horizon 1 with a few extra additions each game from new brands. also making the wheel more concave or have a deeper lip when increasing the width of the tire would be AMAZING! you know how disappointing it is when you build a widebody car with round/flat face rims or no deep lips? also more variants of wheels such as TE37 to TE37-SL or Advan RG2 to Advan RG3 would be a great improvement for selection!

the only 2 reasons why my brother & I quit playing together was: 1. Missing checkpoints in cooperative races were DNF sentences (not to mention as soon as one guy crosses the finish line, an artificial timer starts making the other person who could've been screwed by missing ONE checkpoint will often get DNF'd before he has a chance to finish). A lack of replay as well REALLY took any crazy racing experience we had together & threw it out the window because we're in "multiplayer". It fucking sucks. 2. Steering wheels still blow. Regardless of the amount of degree spin your wheel has, setting up & fine tuning the wheel is agonizingly painful for the average person. The driving experience is SOOO inconsistent that as soon as you find yourself too far behind, you grab the controller next to you to just finish the race before it DNF's you.

I would really like to see stock car mode in Horizon Open. Trials on unmodified cars are really fun.

Discoverability is a big issue. The sheer difficulty of finding new tunes, etc. is ridiculous

One big QOL thing that the livery system needs is a way to preview liveries before you download them, far too many times have i seen a livery thumbnail and thought it looked cool, only for the thing to look pretty terrible when i actually put it on my car.

Hey man, props for a great, constructive video with a positive vibe. You are spot on with all of these but I 110% agree and have asked for these before. 2,3,4,5,6 and 8. Being able to discern what tune I have in a car with more clarity is extremely important and shouldn't be that hard to do. A simple text tag like you showed would do wonders for my online racing and my garage in general. Thank you and keep up the great work!

That clothing - wing comparison is incredibly on point. I mean, we are not playing Sims, neither we can get out if the car and walk around it. Just in those damn loading screens and cut scenes.. in FH4 for example I have changed my clothing just once, in FH5 now 2 times.. but it took me 2 minutes. It wouldn't even bother me if I wouldn't be able to do it... PG really needs to wake up.

For sorting my cars I've made color coded groups by painting them based on the race icons. Road racing tuned cars painted blue, dirt cars painted orange, cross country cars painted green etc. If you favorite all of your online cars and then use these color groups you can narrow down your selection from 700 cars to 1 or a very small selection in seconds in the time before your race and easily know which car you're looking for. This works much better than the tire icons, since tires are used very broadly as he mentioned. Sometimes I'll take this one step further and paint the blue road cars light or dark blue for dry or wet. Light green or dark green XC cars for sprint or circuit tunes. There are some downsides such as taking the time to paint every car, and making sure stray cars don't share the grouped colors. Except for the favorites group this is really the only way to sort cars right now.

A tiny really specific thing that I’ve grown to hate in fh5 is the car selection screen/thumbnails. They’re all so small and at a weird angle that makes the cars look like toy cars which honestly makes them less desirable to drive/buy…In most games you get a full screen 3D model of the car which sometimes rotates as well and it makes the cars more desirable to drive and I want it back in a horizon game!!! Maybe a very small thing to get upset about but I feel like the game would celebrate cars better with proper full screen thumbnails

A very simple thing to program that could very much help keep the "RP farm" jobs from the "Trending Today" etc. tabs would be to simply rearrange the text box after playing. Instead of Like, Dislike, Report - Offer "Ignore" as the first option. This would mean to gain a like, someone would have to make the effort. Most just spam A to make it go away. Surely the better jobs would come out on top? Cracking video by the way!

Great video. You don't come off as negative or off putting like a lot of similar videos, you keep it positive which I appreciate. I agree with everything you said. I wish there was a way to race online where I'm not both a) getting blown away by better drivers while b) being stuck in the back with rammers knocking me out of the check points. I'm not a great driver but I like the challenge of opponents with similar skill and sportsmanship.

From a QOL perspective - I would love to see a dynamic radio station and/or Spotify integration. I understand the later might be difficult to implement but I don't get how a live service game expects us to listen to the same 100 or so songs over 2/3 years and expects us to not get tired of it I know the obvious solution is to just play your own music over the background but the point is that I shouldn't have to. Introducing new music periodically can breath new life into it.

I would just like to add a few things First the most obvious complaint : If they just added cars from older Horizon titles into the autoshow and they focused on adding cars new to Forza instead people would be happier. I understand that it takes 2 years or so to implement a new car but every time they re-add a car that we already had in FH4 I just die a little more inside. I love Forza dearly but we want to earn new things not things that we have already earned from the previous game. (Side note: I miss Fiat, Alfa, Lancia, Abarth, and all the other brands that are missing in this game) Another thing they should allow us to do again is the ability to buy Barnfinds on the auction house. Removing this feature was not a good thing IMO. I saw someone say that the reason they did this was because people kept buying the barn find cars not knowing it was one and then complaining about it. (It literally has a tag that says barnfind lol) I don’t see how that could be why they did it. I strongly agree with you about all the points you made though. I will add one thing that I would like to see with event lab. I think that you should be able to change the cars, classes, laps, and environment on a event lab event when launching one. For instance if I wanted to do a stadium super trucks race in a 74 civic with mud tires for fun with friends instead of using trophy trucks and making it 10 laps instead of 3. I feel like you shouldn’t be able to publish these as they would be practically stolen content. I would also like to reiterate what you said a few videos ago about allowing only certain tunes and livery’s for cars in the restrictions. That would make me actually want to create event lab maps myself. I have plenty of ideas for maps if that was a thing you could do.

Biggest fix for me would be removal of save limits for tunes and liveries. I've ran into the former now and it's making the game borderline unplayable. Especially as there is no easy way to sort for old obsolete tune files and remove them.

Lots of good overall changes suggested here. Unfortunately the game has been an improvement over FH4 in some aspects but a complete downgrade in others (especially for the Online Experience). That being said I do enjoy it a lot too and hopefully we see many improvements in the future as the updated come by.

Most people don't even bother customizing their avatar at all, yet they keep adding more shit for that than anything else, especially since we don't really see the Avatar much.

the decal sharing change would be incredible, i once decided to make the porsche text (not logo) in the editor and it took me 5 hours (!!!) to get it right. then i realized i had to squeeze my new vinyl group 20% top to bottom and spent another hour ungrouping everything and squeezing all the primitives one by one... all to make 7 letters from like 65 primitives. meanwhile in nfs heat i can drag and drop whatever i want on the livery and have something sick to race in 1.5 hours tops

With regards to aero customization, I don't think what we need is more default wings. All they need to do is to allow us to have an "adjustable aero upgrade" that doesn't affect visuals. This way, we could use whatever wing we want, and choose whether we want the aero upgrade.

i met so many more new people because of fh3 club system. i really wish they'd bring it back. the newer system is next to useless as u can get, imo. but all great points, i really enjoyed and agreed with this video. rn only other thing i would want is a toggled setting to only open wheelspins while in freeroam, so that i dont get forced duplicate cars while racing online.

I would add 1 or 2 things (cleaned rivals, better ramming detection, etc.), but mostly -> word !! Regarding “polishing” -> I think that FH5 is just a bigger FH4, which was also full of bugs. And when the source is “buggy” you NEVER can make it clean again. I think this is the reason, why Motorsport gets remade….and then it will get transferred to FH6. At least this I hope ;-). at first i was happy that they added drift suspension to the game but now i kind of wish it was just an angle upgrade kit instead of full suspension. bc some old muscles are so much fun to drift with the stock suspension and roll bars but lack the steering angle. also building a dirt drift car is kind of hard when u want to use off road suspension bc its softer and works better on dirt and drift suspension cant get as soft. and not to mention but not every car even has the option to install drift suspension nor gear box

I couldn't agree more with every topic. Forza horizon is my favorite franchise, but I still wish I could be so much more.

For me the biggest issues with Ranked wasn't even rammers/griefers, but it being permament Open Class, which encourages constant use of meta cars, which gets boring fast. My idea for it would be type, class, and terrain restrictions that would changes daily during the Series, forcing players to compete in different cars.

I think the decal sharing issue is part of a more significant problem with Forza's lack of default decals in the first place. For example, NFS has tons of manufacturer logos and original in-house art that player can freely use to spice up their liveries. Gran Turismo is even crazier, having an entire alphabetized list of every single decal in the game, with some having multiple different formats and color variants. GT7 even includes decals for the fictional brands that sponsor the made-up racetracks in the game. On top of that, you can put the manufacturer logo of whatever car you're making the livery for as well. Forza has less than 100 different decals to use even with literally thousands of both car manufacturers, tuning brands, and even just third-party companies appearing in the game. Some of which are poorly done. The Porsche logo, for example, is stuck inside a white box YOU CANNOT REMOVE.

I also have an issue with the "paint your car" option on some cars with certain accent colors or patterns. let's use FXX-K as an example. the base color on that car has an white accent color with a stripe shape that you can find mainly behind the front light, around and behind the cockpit. when you change one color, even on the non-body part like calipers, those accents are suddenly removed. the only two option to retain the stripe accent are sticking with preset color or adding it by yourself, which add more work and can be a hassle for ppl who doesn't care about the livery editor. The "find new design" search option also could use more QoL since the search function is so lacking. currently we have an option to filter car manufacturers - models which means we can find liveries for cars that we are currently not using, but the search result doesn't tell which car it is, only the name of livery and creator gamertag. they can simply add car name on the description and model or just remove the ability to filter car manufacturers - models and make us only able to search the livery on the car that we currently use about clothing, I wish they give us an option to customize our clothing. give us plain clothing like white shirts and something, then let us choose between preset design from the devs or design it using livery editor-like tools and go crazy with it. Edit: clarity and spelling

I love the point on garage sorting I mark all of the non autoshow cars as favorite so I have a reference when gifting / auctioning cars to know if I am gifting / selling something rare But I too mark my online builds as favorite so I can access them quickly. This overlap is frustrating and I am tired of it. another note, I think a very easy way to remove the toxicity of online ranked (and to make the ranked aspect more focused on the racing, not dodging rammers), just disable collision. I see little good reason to keep it around in ranked. I too desperately want to see bug fixes. It feels like issues that should have taken a week or two to fix have taken months, if at all. I could list some of the bugs I experience here, but the known issues list speaks for itself, especially the dates of when the issues were added. The evolving world point is really depressing. The stunt park was one of the best things in this game and its been gone for months, with zero confirmed return date. I think an important change that the devs need to consider is what they did with the UI between fh4 and fh5. I studied UX and UI design briefly at my university so I feel relatively qualified to judge fh's ui. 4 was too complex and had a dog shit layout. It wasn't symmetrical, it wasnt consistent, some very commonly used buttons were tiny and some rarely used buttons were large. 5 went too far to the other side of the spectrum and simplified it wayy too much. PGG removed the "song playing" display, the weather display, the find new lobby button, the followed players button, and many, many more. They also hid a whole bunch of stuff under other menus which only makes the menus harder to use, even though they are technically more simple.

About the reporting feature: its actually quite easy to report people over the Xbox app. The downside of it is that you never get any feedback, so on longer term it feels like you are doing it for abolutely nothing. I report rammers on a daily bases as I would love the racing to be much cleaner, but that also would include an effort from the devs to improve the penalty system. Where we are right now a ranked multiplayer really only moves toxicity to a different place in the game.

I would like it if in FH6 all aero and wheels became a visual-only thing, and would be bundled with liveries. Another thing would be to have sidewalls be separate from the tire tread itself, so you can have white walls, HW redline, and horizon race tires for drag or stock tires and that would also come with the livery

2 things I would love to see... 1. In the car collection tab a little icon like a garage symbol that shows that you own the car and it's in your garage. I know the vehicle icon lights up once you have them but if you have sold it for some reason on purpose or accident it stays lit up even if you don't have the car anymore. This would really help collectors. Could even take it a little further and show the quantity of that specific car that you have in the garage. 2. I know you touched on it in the video but this is absolutely necessary. A way to categorize your favorites. Even just two categories, one for race and one for cruising around would be beyond helpful. I have very nice cars that I like to just cruise around but don't compete in races and I won't add them to my favorites because they get cluttered when I'm trying to find a car before a race. I can't tell you how many times I have started a race with a car I don't even want because I can't find the car that I'm looking for. Which has caused me to take cars that I really enjoy out of my favorites list. And worse yet then I just forget about them and never use them.

one thing i would want is that having public freeroam/race lobby list in maps on eventlab. like clicking to lobby list abd seeing the tokyo map with 8 players and joining to it

About the clubs, in FH1 you could look at each others vehicles and share them for your clubmates to use online and in free roam. It was better that way

Recreating sponsors myself helped me gain experience a lot so I don’t mind it. You can also download someone else’s logo and recreate it then use it yourself

after driving on my rig in VR ill never go back to driving with screens again. it is by no means perfect, but it just keeps getting better and more refined.

as for suggestions i have a way to filter electric cars, i like the way electric cars drive but unless i look it up or go with one of the cars that i know is electric i have no idea which other cars are electric. a sort by last driven a quick way to replay/load event lab races after collecting the rewards, (sure you can hit restart, but then you don’t get anything for it) bring back the ability to download tunes in the pre race menu make it easier to make touge maps in event lab fix the favorites list in event lab (i have a bunch of maps that i’ve hit fav on and they don’t show up in the fav list) A real auto transmission option with P-R-N-D-S Be able to open hood, doors and trunk in freeroam to take pictures Paintable windows, tyres and black body trim Manually select headlights on/off Manual selection of day-night in menu Paint vinyls in different textures like with paint Paintable interiors Add seperate paint sections for windows for front windshield, front windows, rear windows Seperate customisation of front and rear wheels More custom hood scoops for muscle cars (especially blowers) Customise exhaust tips Raise paint design and tune limit Fix/add more engine swaps Be able to place avatar next to vehicle in freeroam in Photo Mode (what else are all those clothing items good for?) Customise interior by allowing us to strip it and add a race seat like in Forza Motorsport (I think this only applied with race weight reduction)

I agree with your suggestions. FH5 is an awesome game at its core and I'm glad it fixed alot of my issues from FH4 and I can actually say its probably my favorite game in the franchise. Sure it has issues its not a perfect game, my main issue you mentioned is the bugs. I mainly play FH for the single player stuff and never delve too much about the creative and online aspect that I'm aware lacks in the games. Even with all the issues it still my favorite due to the gameplay, physics, diverse map, car sounds etc. and hoping it will get better soon and be more polished soon.

Only thing I would add to this list is an in-game chat lobby. Great list and suggestions overall. Let's hope some of this makes its way into the game before we all give up.

Every game feature you listed is the reason I don't play the game anymore. Especially event labs. I always load into the dumbest tracks. There's so much cool stuff in the game and I feel like it's too much to try to find as an average player. The wings always bugged me too.

I also do suffer from getting bored of the game since recently, I only log in for the Seasonal stuff, then leave for a week. And I have my complaints mostly on the customazation, I will leave any progression stuff by the wayside as we probably can all agree. (Though Hot Wheels did fix the progression, I loved starting at B-class (I wished it was a longer story there though, and that the story became shorter at S2, but then again, I mostly use B-, A- and S1-class cars. 1: because of the challenge to build them properly within the class limit, and 2: because of the fact you can actually enjoy the scenery and the race a bit when racing), but it did not fix my boredom after like getting to the S2 Progression, as it eventually became rinse, repeat. But just with an even faster car...) Having wheel spacers on EVERY CAR IN THE GAME (after 5 installments of Forza Horizon) would be an incredibly nice option to have. I have tried to build a number of cars and once I got to the offset, I found out I couldn't adjust it, so I just scrapped the build because the stock offset is so hideous... (This is just lazy game making by the Devs imo) Another thing that would be nice, is ALL tire and suspension options available on ALL the cars in the game. Having Onroad racing pick-ups, or proper drift pick-ups would be such a riot! Adding to this, for the pick-ups, having Lift-kits or Trophy Truck like suspension (about 20 to 28 inches, as a Euro person I honestly have no clue how much cm that is) to create Pre-Runners, I mean, we are IN MEXICO after all, which is right next to BAJA CALIFORNIA, home of the BAJA 1000. And I suppose the Mexicans are just as crazy about Off-Roading as the US people are... This was such a letdown to realize that wasn't in the game when I built my first Pick-up truck. I mean, be honest, if you were capable to PROPERLY Carolina Squat your pick-up because you have access to like a 6 inch liftkit up front, you WOULD do it, GUARANTEED! XD To keep on complaining about Cultural things, especially since Ramy's racing story has been released today. I was hoping for more RODS AND CUSTOMS since day one. Like a '61 Chevy Impala, or more Chevy Nova's. Chevy Fleetline, Ford name a ton of those, Plymouth Road Runners, Pontiac Bonneville, I can keep going for a while but you get the picture. But stuff like that is part of Mexican car culture from what I know as a European person. Screw those Hypercars for 9-year-olds and such, screw giving me the same car that has been in the franchise for the past 2 decades through the 'Festival Playlist', give me proper Mexican car culture man... To round this off, I know. Playground Games probably has a ton of diffuculties putting SOME of these requests in the game (Due to Car licensing and rules attached which could prohibit things like a Carolina Squat), but others, like not adding the wheel spacers and tire/suspension options, is just pure laziness imo.

I completely agree about the first talking point. NFS Underground 2 was ground breaking because of all the aero and customization. It's literally more than half the reason I buy racing games... to mod the cars. Further more I bugs that absolute shit out of me how they grade things like wheels. As well how they choose which wheels should be in the game. When I see companies like Rota who have made a name on stealing quality designs from other companies in these games it legit pisses me off. Rotas are trash and the idea of putting them in a racing game is legit asinine. It's like taking a realistic shooting game with real guns then adding in the hi-point c-9 (a joke of a gun among enthusiasts). The ONLY people using rotas are people who dont actually know what quality racing parts are. Ever single Forza game that comes out I pray they took Rotas out but every game they are there.

Here's an idea, let's take your clubhouse where people can hang out. Make it have multiple "show spots" where people can showoff their cars and make these "rentable". So people have something to do with their money besides going for the cap. Besides buying the occassional car there is barely anything to spend money on which you get for EVERY race and in soooo many rewards. PS. this is endgame minded as new players have tons of cars to buy.

I feel a lot of the changes you mention could add longevity to their games, which would allow them to have more time to create the next successive game.

Idk if this is a stretch but I’ve always wanted to be able to have a garage layout where you can select up to 6 cars and place them how you want for a cool photo.

They should add proper WRC bodykits and conversions, I’ve been trying to make proper WRC tunes for most rally cars in the game, but it’s a bit of a chore to be honest, I published them if anyone is interested.

I have the feelings that the devs are aware of all of those suggestions that can improve the game much better but decide to keep them for the next Horizon game. Think about it, it’s been 9 years since the Xbox One Forza engine tech is running and we really start to see his limit with FH5. Why they should care about all those problems and suggestions if they will be all featured and fixed with the current new engine tech for the Xbox Series. I know it sounds awful but I feel that’s what they have planned to do and that can explain the lack of their efforts and communications. about front aero, i want the possiblity to put a front bumper and the front splitter if i want like nfs heat about checkpoint issues, a faster respawn at speed could also help, like a instant reset button that spawn u back on track with some speed like grid, also like grid the rewind should alowed u to take control when u want

Preach!!! The rear wing of the Forza Aero is spo tired looking!!!!! It is so outdated and doesn't fit on every style of car. Thankfully, a lot of the classic cars have very nondescript front and rear aero. The large Forza rear wing has to go. They also statistically favor their aero versus aftermarket aero. That is not fair.

Some sort of car sorting/listing would be a no brainer considering I have over 300 cars and no way to sort them.

Couple of things: 1) The Forza Aero has not been in the game 8 years, Infact it is coming up to 20 as Forza Motorsport 1 had this aero kit too. 2) I do agree with the Photomode changes that you suggested the upscaling resolution one has been adressed as FH4 you couldn't even use Nvidia's photomode to scale from 1920x1080, in fh5 I can and regularly take pictures in 8k with Nvidia's AI-Upscaling. While I don't dabble in videos for Forza but if they brought something akin to the Rockstar editor in Rockstar's games where you can place the camera anywhere within a specific radius around the scene Somethings you missed that are very major (I assume you play on the MS/Xbox version) DLCs that are apart of bonus like the FH5 controller DO NOT WORK with the Steam version of the game which is annoying as if you want to get all the cars in your garage you can't as the FE De Luxe is a DLC car that you can't redeem, Trade or buy on the Auction house. OH but you can sell the car though. This goes to the Ford GT promo they did with a make-up brand, ignoring the fact that they even collabed with something like that The "Fix" for the graphical bug is to lower the graphics...... This is not a fix it is just a workaround for a bug that I have had since the pre-release of the game As an owner of a RTX 3070 why is the only option for Ray-tracing limited exclusively to Forzavista?. This technology is perfect for racing games even more Sims as we can now accurately simulate the light reflecting off the car The Steam version has a different saving system but yet still uses Xbox's live services???? This is on par with exclusive DLC as I also own State of Decay 2 on Steam aswell as the Microsoft Store version and would you look at that, They use the same save system so I could switch over from the Windows store to steam. Even Epic doesn't do this to the extent of PLayground games as if they do it would be a folder structure difference not a full on different save file Even now I am getting angry just proof reading this...

I like most of the suggestions you had and honestly i forgot about clubs but the dedicated space sounds awesome and something maybe the club can lvl up to unlock more features of the space.

Was really hoping that reverse/mirror circuits was an option. Like the races are good but some would be just as good going in reverse. Maybe not some of the cross country stuff but others yes. I also wish with the garage/gifting that when you go from one car or gift it. It always defaults back to acura. Like no i was at Pagani go back to Pagani so i dont have to navigate back to it. QUALITY OF LIFE!

They need to bring back blueprints from fh3 and parking Meets like fh2, and as well bucket list

The hacked/bugged lap time on ladderboard really need to be take care of, those time makes me feel stupid whenever I try to challenge and make some better record.

I'm totally agree with all suggestions, BUT as far as i can see the current way of forza evolution, we will not see any of this cause huge amount of PG team is doing something different then FH5. We had "HUGE" HW update after 9 months and all we get is boring reuse of FH3 assets on a different map. A spent a thousand hours in FH5 waiting that in some time it will become a really interesting COMPETETIVE ARCADE RACING game, but all i can see that devs are not interested in actual racing game, they are waiting from us that we will somehow cruise all over the map looking on very detelized cactuses and friendly chat with each other using quick phrases. FH is not about racing anymore, it is about Papa Fernando culture and "friendly enviroment of festival".

My top choice would be restoring the 360 era customization for cars that had Aftermarket brands. Examples are: C-West/Tommy Kaira/Mine's kits for the R34, all deleted kits from the DC2 Integra, CRXs Side Skirts, the 4 missing MR2 kits, the Mustang 05 and its customization.

I just want to take a moment to thank anybody and everybody who has made a logo or a custom livery. some of these are incredibly gorgeous and I never knew how painstaking the process is...

just a random idea i got from watching this video: damage costs. maybe make it so that rammers need to pay the expenses of the damage to your car in credits. or if you like to play in sim mode, also make it so that you need to repair your car by going to a garage and pay some credits

Drone Cam in Replays and Spectator Mode are my two top requests. In game club house is also a great idea. I even made buildings in eventlabs specifically for meets, like a warehouse with a drift area. If we could share our event lab creations widely with our clubs that would be a huge two birds with one stone right there. All these ideas are great really hope at least a few get used

I would give up EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF CLOTHING, EVERY HORN and every goddamn voice line in the entire game just for a single different goddamn spoiler to be perfectly honest. None of that other shit matters in my CAR GAME. No matter how much Playground, Microsoft, Turn 10 or who the fuck ever wants it to. That being said we need to be able to paint rims different colors. All 4 of them. At least the front and back. We need to be able to put different rims in all 4 slots too tbh but that would make sense to settle for front and back only. Starting a custom race from anywhere and better snapping/prop placement options across the board. I mean come on. GTA has been doing this stuff for over a decade. A racing game shouldn't be playing catch up on racing features to an online action, shooting game. They've started but we def need leaderboard sweeps for cheaters and just better shit to report/prevent cheaters and rammers in general.. Unlock the damn tunes and the damn liveries man. Just remove the money aspect from these things already FFS. It's beyond silly I can jump on Assetto or F1 games that are way more sim than Forza will ever be, download someones tune and change something if it doesn't quite fit my driving style. Also it just makes me scream when I can't change the color of something or the goddamn rims when I download something. It's infuriating. EASE OF USE AND CONVENIENCE PEOPLE! Speaking of convenience. We need to be able to sort WHO we play against. I.E. not playing against people with last gen systems that take 8 mins to load or PC players that hack like assholes. Just let me play against other Series S/X players so MP isn't this giant PITA of waiting longer than fucking racing.

the best part of this video is the suggested fixes, simple and in line with what I feel horizon stands for in line with garage sorting and car naming, I'd love to see individual numberplates for each car... just a simple "apply to this car/all cars" distinction in the nameplate menu would be enough

For the front I've always thought that the forza part should be stackable in that you can use (where available) all parts of a body kit and subsequently add on the adjustable front aero too.

a club system would be SOOOO cool!! i have a couple hundred hours across horizon 4 and 5 and i didn’t know clubs existed… but that would be so cool to have a system like that. and taking. examples from clash of clans “clan” system would be awesome! how the club can level up and unlock buffs for its members, and a clubhouse would be awesome. maybe it could even implement a little bit of a walking around mechanic, where inside the club house you can get out of your car and walk around to different areas and see cars that are being shown off, or leaderboards, etc.
