Recently I went on a Holland America New England cruise from Boston to Quebec City. I will be making a playlist of the entire vacation with one video from each day in port. In this video, it was our first day which was in Bar Harbor Maine. While in Maine, we tried a restaurant called Galyns. After lunch, we walked around Bar Harbor to see the sights.
Holland America also has something called Tea Time each day at 3pm. Tea Time is very exciting to me because I love tea and mini pastries and wait until you see these!

This was great to see. Sorry to hear all the issues you had in the morning and getting to Bar Harbor and the heat. You pay all this good money and then stuff like this happens. There is nothing worse than being overly hot and miserable and can't relax and enjoy it. Thankfully there were able to get your AC working in your room. Too bad there are so many older people on this cruise lol. Can't wait to see the rest of your trip.

We were glad the cooling got fixed, it stinks when you are too hot all the time. We weren't too worried about all the old people though...they were occasionally annoying from time to time but then again who isnt. Id take old people over a boat full of kids any day!

Yes! Only in Bar Harbor and only for a few hours but it was a nice town and we had a nice day considering it was supposed to rain all day.

Definitely not good that you got to harbor so late, what's the point of the stops if you are in port for a few hours

Exactly! Lesson learned would be to try to head down to the waiting area a little bit sooner. Rather than being number 9, if I was #1 I would have gotten on 30-45 minutes earlier, but still a lose of a few hours.

Im from Rhode Island so it is well known that we add "R's" to some words and take them off of others. 😂😂😂 We never know where we PaaK the Caa. (park the car). Actually that’s the opposite example. More accurate example, it’s not a good idear to drink sodar. Man, these example don’t type out as easily as they sound.

Imo being too hot especially inside and especially at night/bedtime is the worst I'd be complaining too.

Yeha, I mean, being warm around the ship is "tolerable" but after walking around outside when it is warm and muggy and coming back to warm room is rough. Sleeping is the worst though. My wife and I usually sleep with a window open or AC on depending on the season. Our room is always cool at night.

On my last cruise we had to go through immigration and then tender. Immigration agents came on board late. It was a hot mess.

Ive been on 8 cruises so far and there have been plenty of families and kids. Some cruise moreso than others. This cruise though, it was like it was out of a bad horror film... "wait... has anyone noticed... there are no children here." "What? That can't be true. I swear I saw one over.... no... actually... I havnt seen any!" "We need to get off this boat!"
