Hollywood is racist and nothing has changed. Black people go to the movies just as much as any other race. Seems like Hollywood is saying black people don't want to see black people leading or as the majority in a film and I'm not sleep I know that is not the case. They'll tell us anything to keep us quiet. If whites don't want the films to be made then they'll only hire black directors that share their same vision and views on the images in movies. This reminds me of every other area where black people can't be proud blacks. At work, in politics, in church, in public. If we stand proud we run the risk of being looking like a racist. But Asians don't have this problem or the Spanish community or the Italians. They can stand proud, spend money with their own, have festivals. America won't call them racist. I see the real issue here but blacks will not stand up for ourselves bc we don't want to offend anyone. So we just continue to be slaves without the physical chains..smh

Thank you. Black people have known about Freakwood for YEARS. Sadly, the black people that are in position to pool resources to put MORE black people in front o as well as behind the camera, have the "trickle down effects of a slave mentality--self preservation not FIRST, but ONLY". I give less than a dam about their awards ceremonies.

What I don't see many people taking about is how hollywood is being racist with they way they cast mixed race couples . You only see white males and black females being featured as couples in movies in TV shows 99.9% of the time , you almost never see any other type of mixed race combination but that one Also for some reason,Tiffany Haddish , Hallie Berry , and Zoe Salanda in the movies and/or TV shows they've been in they're love interests have been white 99.9% of the time, also every notable black actress has been the love interest of someone white in a Movie or TV show while not one notable white actress has ever been a love interest in a movie or TV show for someone that's not noticeably white let that sink in.

The solution is clear to me. There are many monied black people in the U.S. Why don't they branch out and create their own entertainment industry separate from Hollywood. Blacks have superior/dominant talent, so instead of making money for racist white people make money for ourselves and other black people. Black owned sports leagues, black controlled movie, music, news and entertainment industries. Take over a city with a new black entertainment industry. Better more fair contracts. with total content control and above all keep all white Jewish khazars out of the businesses.

The issue was and still is, if you don’t allow the chances to be taken, then you’ll have this “predictable” business theme of the black movie not being profitable. They don’t try it, still now they don’t try it. Scroll through Netflix, you don’t have diversity, you have all white films with one diverse character, or you have all black or all whatever, but it’s not diverse. One black person on a tv show makes it a show with a token, not a diverse show. Racism is about image and if you’re constantly seeing white people in power and all others in the search for it, then that’s all people know. Culture is shaped through people. Poor culture, non white films, do bad. All white, high budget, does well. That’s America for you.

Hollywood wants you to believe that they're for mixed couples but they're only for mixed couples that consist of a white male and a black woman . If they were really for diversity , you would see more ALL mixed couples instead of just white male non white female couples which makes up 99.9% of the mixed race couples in movies and TV shows
