Kanata played The Witch's House few days ago, Shion just played today, and I'm expecting Rushia to follow in a few days as well. We'll have a group of 3 again. I'm thinking of renaming this compilation as "Marine/Korone/Subara - The Witch's House" so I can include Kanata, Shion, and Rushia in a different video instead of adding them in the current series because we're already in the middle of the game progression. Also, I was surprised this series got more popular than my ARK series. It was just a fun compilation I wanted to do because I like The Witch's House but not expecting much. I was thinking of doing the other RPG horror name "Ib" later if you'd like to see it. Just tell me your thoughts.

I like it when all of us (most of us, few did not hesitate to put the frog to the snake's room) are trying to find anything than the Frog's death. o7 to that Frog.

I like how Subaru thought bout getting the fake frog for the snake (would've been awesome if the game had that as an option !), and even thought bout feeding the snake with cake ! XD lol Watching her thinking so hard to spare that frog is at the same time heartwarming and heartbreaking. TvT

I really like that in this game, most of the scary stuff is a punishment. Like, you done fucked it up, so here's a scare. Horror games that feel more fair often run by those rules.

Yeah, like, after accomplishing something you get a scary challenge, and if you mess up anywhere you get a scare - it's not like you get jumpscared for simply existing, it has a reason to it

@@winsonzhu4427 jumpscared by simply existing is sadly the main formula for most modern horror now, Linear Walking simulator get item to get spooked it's like getting spooked is the reward.

@@CrnaStrela If people get jumpscared for just making headway in the game, the game just becomes really draining to play, moreso than scary. Imo Horror plays really well with some sort of puzzle solving, like in this game. Even in horror games that aren't explicitly puzzle solving, you do yourself a lot of good by figuring out patterns in the game, in example to run circles around and away from various enemies, or figure out how to make a safe escape from the Mr. X equivalent.

So true! People need to look back at these oldschool RPGmaker horror games. The Witch's House, Misao, Ib, all of those games rewarded you for thinking properly and punished you if you didn't. The only games that work with 'scare simply by existing' are experimental ones like Yume Nikki, and even then you'd have to dig really deep to scare yourself. That's what modern horror is missing: opportunity. It's so much scarier if you could've escaped had you reacted just a little bit faster, rather than 'you're fucked either way'

Just notice marine is playing an older version of the game which is pixel style while the others were playing the steam ver.. The older version is more immersive tho.

After she just streamed the game, I loaded the video in my software to edit it later. I think it's gonna be on a different series which include PPTenshi, Haachama and Shion... But I'd Rushia to play (and I expect her to do it someday) because I know someone who's currently working on Shion's playthrough.

Around 6:00 when Marine’s going to put the frog in the room, the entire chat is going “Senchou you should put Pekora in there 草” Also “put Noel in” because Noel (Noeru) is similar to Frog (Kaeru) I guess?

Korone mind a frog have to be given to a snake= sad a man have to cut his finger = nice,use the rusted saw, dont forget to disinfect, good job on cutting it in one swoop
