Important context: ovens as we know them in the west are super rare in Japan. Even a well equipped family kitchen will be basically just a rice cooker, a gas stove top and a fish grill. A young single person might only have a countertop induction burner and a microwave. This is a big reason why convenience stores are so popular

Typically, I cut 5 minutes off the bake time for my brownies because they get too dry or the bottom burns, then I just check doneness with a toothpick and making sure the edges aren't burning. But for an inexperienced baker, Mio did a fine job!

I'd never seen a brownie recipe like this until this stream went live, but heck, I'm sure it was delicious!!! I really loved these streams of Mio's where she cooked stuff, everything looked great! I wonder if we'll get to see more of Mio's baking...? I'm sure she's cooking up something behind the scenes heh heh(pun very much intended). This stream was super fun, thank you for translating this bit!!

The more I have watched Mio over years, the more I think she is a totally clumsy goofball deep down who maintains this facade of an innocent straight man. I think its really sweet.
