I mean, beetles/insect catching/collecting in summer is a normal hobby for kids in JP before smart phones 😂. Hence, Animal Crossing.

Since you use Dorcus Titanus/Hopei in the sub. Mountain stag beetle is Lucanus maculifemoratus btw. I've also want to breed one. Best Lucanus species IMO.

@@Odontomango lmao I think they're one of the only few Lucanus with large head and jaws relative to the body (plus overall body size).

@@Micheldied Yeah, I'm not really into their design. The JP Maculifemoratus spp. is like a classic Lucanus for me. I like the simple design and it is a beginner friendly species to rear for someone who wants to get into Lucanus 👌
