Under the guidance of Polka-sensei, Nepolabo (or is it Kipolasu?) embarks on the greatest of ARK adventures: stealing wyvern eggs from their wyvern nests!
We all know I'm pretty awful at multi-POVs, but there was a lot going on on this one, so it had to be done.
tl notes:
-Ok, so the whole thing with their intros is that, for some reason, Nene turned into a round of shiritori once she came back. If you don't know, shiritori is a word game in which one player says a word and the next player has to say a word beginning with the last kana (or for our purposes, syllable) from the previously said word en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shiritori
That's why Botan's "Bo" changed to "Lo"(or "su" rather) because Lamy's last word was "helLO". I did my best to make it make sense while still being funny and relatively close to the original meaning, but it's obviously not a literal translation, as that would've been really confusing.
-They only went "waku-waku" once in this part, so I went with the corresponding heartbeat onomatoepeia (which is kinda meh), but you're going to hear it a LOT in the next part and I'll just leave it as-is. All it is it's the onomatoepeia for a beating heart, and it's used to express excitement or anticipation.

Right? Look also for micheaL (At the moment he's doing Pekora's DQ8 stream. Around 20-30m per video, he's at episode 50), and Peko Mains for Holomovies watchalongs. These 2 plus this channel are the only ones I know making clips the way it used to be.

I love how they call Alpha Dinosaurs "landowners" 24:20 Those DAMN BIRDS CAN TAKE EGGS TOO?!?! if y'all don't play ARK you do not underSTAND how infuriating those birds are. Ichthyornis are birds that can knock off your weapons or more commonly steal your food items. Once they steal a food item, they consume it IMMEDIATELY, so there's ZERO chance of getting it back. The most inconvenient these birds usually are are stealing your own rations but this is a level of villainy I've not witnessed before. Now that's what I call PAIN Thanks for the subs and the edits. You're quickly becoming one of my fave clippers. Good subs, longer clips, multiple POVs. You're putting in that work and it's much appreciated. Looking forward to part 2!

Thank you very much for translating nepolabo's ARK series. Your editing made it easier to watch. Making one long recording short and interesting tends to be a simple, time-consuming and boring task. This is a clever edit! I know how hard it is. Yes, about 10 years ago, I was an editor for a Japanese comedy show well-known for its flashy subtitles. Aside from that, paradoxically, these holojp translations are also a great way to learn English.

I just stole my first batch of eggs myself. Tried it out with a Pteranodon first but we both died after we ran out of stamina (rip Kamikaze). Second trip was a breeze with my griffin but it was still nerve wracking as hell. Curious to see how the girls fared lmao.
