cool project, btw a heat gun is a much better tool than a lighter for cleaning up that stringing. or you could fix your retraction settings in your slicer

le résultat final est très très clean mais il y'a pas de cheveux d'anges et d'imperfection à l'impression, c'est un prototype ? ca me dit rien du tout ce genre d'imprimantes 3D

it's funny seeing dinosaur level 3d print tech being lauded as innovative If they put a proper hotend on that thing and did CPAP cooling they could print much faster, decreasing lead times by quite a bit

Nah it looks way more viscous. Besides putting it in a thick layer or resin? Mmm I would put something else thats cheaper . I wouldnt want to use something kinda expensive just to be used at the bottom. Ive seen uv glues and it should be cheaper

I was wondering the same thing, my guess is a UV cured epoxy. I’m not sure if that would eat away at the PLA- or what ever material they printed the sign frame out of.

You'll have to pardon me, but the print quality of that printer is TERRIBLE! Im in the market for a large scale printer for Channel letters/signs, but I don't think I'll be buying one of these!
