I still have no clue why so many people don't like this movie. I think it is almost as good as the first one and always puts a smile on my face.

The first Home Alone and the sequel Lost in New York are still my all time favourite Christmas movies.

The dad is a lawyer. The mom is a fashion designer (which is why the house has so many mannequins that Kevin used during one of his tricks in the first film).

Funnily enough that gizmo Kevin has to record and playback audio was MADE FOR THIS MOVIE ^^ The director specifically requested it being made as he wanted to use such a device for the plot. Due to it being so popular it became an actual toy for children to buy

The reason Kevin didn’t call the police in the first movie was the phone lines were down for the first part, then he recognised Harry as the Cop who came to the house

So fucking wholesome that not only this group of adults can truly laugh and enjoy the slapstick humor from a 2 decade old movie but they also have already seen it and still keep the joy. Normies are dope and friend goals.
