I never thought I would live to see Hollywood FINALLY figuring out how to do a Mario movie but here we are. And I for one, as someone who has played these games since I was little, cannot wait for the inevitable spin offs for this movie.

the only thing I wanted from this movie was more Luigi. but with the success of this movie, I'm looking forward to the Luigi's Mansion movie that will most likely happen now.

I want Luigi’s mansion for sure, and including Daisy in some way (in a way, I kinda want a romance between them to happen before a potential Mario and Peach, to call back to the films) and a galaxy one. Since Yoshi is teased tho, they might go for a world and 3 mix tho. There’s so much potential. I hope Illumination continues to do good work.

Lumalee, the blue star doesn't get a lot of understanding because not every fan has played the galaxy games. As everyone has seen, it is able to escape anytime it wants, move the cage without touching it. If it did died it has the potential to turn into a supernova, killing literally everyone. Maybe they'll explain in future movies with Rosalina

As a person who often watches things with subtitles, I never once needed subtitles in that movie. Unless you're referring to when miles, Miles' mum and Miguel speak Spanish, but even then I'd disagree, I don't need to know what they're saying I get the point.

I feel like the mushroom kingdom is so easy to conquer😂. They literally have no defenses at all or any strategy towards fighting back. Once shit goes down they immediately run away 😂😂 Honestly Bowser doesn’t need an army or a power star to destroy the kingdom, he could just do it all by himself.

8:42 Haha detail, the reason Luigui is as coward as brave Mario is it was because during the Yoshi games back when Both baby plumbers got intercepted by Kammy Koopa. Mario was luckily found by Yoshi but in the other hand Luigui spend the whole game in Bowser's castle. Right now, from minute 1 Luigui experienced Luigui's Mansion flashblacks

My first video game was Super Mario World. I didn’t get to finish it back then, but I got to play it again on the Switch. Same for Donkey Kong Country. Of course I also play Xenoblade, Mario Kart, and Super Smash Bros. I plan to play Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom in the long run.

29:30 "It's a Loaded." Made freaking lose it! I laughed so hard, I got kicked out of my apartment Oh and my extended Universe take: Crossover team of Samus and the Star Fox Team movie. Slippy gives Samus upgrades gradually till they have to fight an Andross(sp?)/ Mother Brain controlled enemy. We finally get to see Samus's ship get some action too at the end. 40:52 correction, damarin: mario & luigi's uncles in the film are voiced by rino romano & john dimaggio. mario & luigi in the super mario bros super show cartoon are played by professional wrestler captain lou albano (1933-2009) & danny wells (1941-2013).

So something fun not a lot of people know about, the Blue Star Kid or Lumas CRAVE DEATH. Reason why is because when a Luma grows up eventually they super nova and become a new star, planet, galaxy or something else, and in the process make more Lumas to continue the cycle. Which is why the Blue Star Kid is constantly Macomb through the whole thing.

In the diner if you look at the photos on the wall you will see Mike Tyson Punchout characters and Duck Hunt scene. 5:43 have you guys seen the movie “Up”? Francis is the same design as the dog in “Up”. 7:10 the original Mario and Luigi from the “Super Mario Brothers Super Show” passed away before this was made. Mario & Luigi’s dad in this is the voice of video game Mario from the mid 90s to now. 12:16 the toad general is played by Eric Bauza who voiced Drift in the “Transformers Age of Extinction” and “Transformers: Robots in Disguise” (2014-2020). 16:12 Jack Black co-wrote this song. When I first heard the song before I knew who wrote it I thought Jack had to have had a hand in the lyrics. You guys missed the end credit scene that teases a sequel. They showed the Yoshi egg in the tunnels that was a wedding present on the table and it hatched.
