@@bunnyboo4551 i disagree, hunters knowing meat is somewhat a stereotype. Hunters must know how to hunt, which primarily, is stalking and killing the game. It is the, grocers, who should know about the meat they buy, because most of the time they see the meat already prepared... Not as a bloody animal.

@Nogs Galogs Game or quarry is any animal hunted for sport or for food, or the meat of those animals. Game meat (usually considered to include animals harvested from game reserves) is generally considered to be superior in nutrient density and usually has lower fat content than meat procured through contemporary farming methods. In short, you don't hunt calves, therefore veal isn't a common game meat. They're farm raised.

Canadians ohhhh Canadians.... They are so so friendly. I just love it. There's intensity in the MasterChef Canafa Kitchen yet everyone including the judges are so friendly and polite towards one another. Unlike any Masterchef US episodes.

It's actually ironic to note how the cooks downstairs did way better in the competition overall than some of the cooks upstairs. That's always an amazing yet scary part of culinary 😂😬

To be fair veal isn’t game meat, it’s calf meat and without indication it’d be easy to make a mistake

Use your brain for one moment and try to think a little more critically. What kind of meat would a hunter who only hunts wild game be familiar with? Veal and pigs don’t roam wild. In the US there are regions that have big wild boar populations, but not in Canada. It’d be easy to get two meats you never eat mixed up if they look similar.

I like how Masterchef is designed to keep you on your feet 😂 they call names and pause for dramatic effect then give a positive response a lot, but at the same time they also switch it up and give a negative response to keep you thinking what they'll say.
