Wait wait wait! Wait until you start singing 'Delta Dawn what's that flower you have on?' at odd moments, and realize it's a bloody earworm. I would wake up and the very first thing in my head? Bloody earworm.

This is super. Sorry to say but I like this better than the original and other covers 😊 Great sung, incredible bass, unbelievable beatboxing/vocal sounds, amazing harmonies. Each has just the right role in the song. And then the video!!! Wow. They all look perfect🥰😍. Images from earlier Western movies that I watched a lot came back! Yes, another successful cover!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Home Free and Brooke Eden are awesome together!💖

I'm so old I remember the 1970s versions of this song. That being said, I just love Home Free & Brooke Eden's rendition. The singing, beatboxing, harmonies, setting are all perfect. One of the (many) things I love about HF is their active promotion of other singers. I have the Sounds of Lockdown CD - I didn't know there was a vinyl! Now I want one! Thanks for playing this & your comments.

I hear you about The Featured Artist usually dominating a HF, and I want to hear more of the HF guys. But I appreciate HF'S generosity to promote less-known artists. It's a kind of paying-it-forward for all the big-name artists who collaborated with HF in their beginning. A side note: Tanya Tucker was 13 years old when she recorded this hit in 1972. People were blown away from her mature-sounding voice.

This video was shot at Goldfield Ghost Town in Apache Junction, AZ. I used to live less than 5 minutes from there. That view of the Superstition Mountains was one I saw every day! They are beautiful! I love how generous Home Free is with every feature artist whether they are fully established or are just getting their name out there. They are what many other artists should aspire to be. Just when i think i can't possibly love these men any more... they do something like this! And it doesn't hurt that this is one of my all time favorite songs! My Mom said I used to sing this song when I was about 2. So it means even more now that she has passed on. Great reaction! I'm glad you didn't give up at the 1st verse!

Well, I think you have to consider the song. It’s all about Delta Dawn so of course she’s front and center. I thought she fit in well with them. I love their harmonies and loved Austin’s highs and Tim’s lows and Adam was great as usual. Loved them as cowboys too! Good reaction BC! The song is now 50 years old…sheesh! 😍

I was prepare to not really enjoy this "old country" song; but Home Free tends to change my opinion once I hear their upgrade - this was one of those times! As per usual, Home Free never disppoints!

I love the western wear the guys chose Austin looks like Clint Eastwood in those spaghetti westerns while Tim is channeling Kurt Russel from Tombstone, while Chance has the Marshall Dillon vibe....

Allways loved the song, and my favorit boys just made it Better. Tim reminds me of 'Doc', from Marshall Grovers "Larry & Stretch" book series. A wandering poker bachelor.

Well, I believe having a 'Featured Artist' kind of gives away the plot as to how this song was constructed for HF. When they walk down the street in a line, it reminded me of the Earps and Doc walking down the street in Tombstone to the Okay Coral. But, thank you, behind the curve.

Reading the background on this song, songwriter Alex Harvey wrote this song in memory of his mother who like the character of the song was misunderstood also he used it as therapy after her death. We know that Bette Midler, Tanya Tucker, and Helen Reddy all had a hit with the song, and only male group I know that a had a release of the song are the Statler Brothers.

Great reaction!! This is pure classic country perfection they sound so amazing together.This song was first released in 1971 by Bette Midler then released again in 1972 by Tanya Tucker and made it to the top ten of the country charts then released again in 1973 by Helen Reddy made it to number one on the US charts Fun Fact: That poncho that Austin is wearing was worn by Clint Eastwood in some of his western movies.They also just released Give Me A Sign it Chapter One of the Stargazer Trilogy Glad you received the message about the album you said many times you wanted another vinyl album they also have another special edition vinyl they just released not long ago only 500 So Long Dixie it looks cool

This song is a killer. Brooke Eden is perfect for this song. Love the western setting, costumes, harmonies, and Tim's bass as well as Adam Rupp's percussion.❤️❤️❤️

This is a great song! Bette Midler did it first in 1971 but I remember Tanya Tucker & Helen Reddy's versions. The guys did a really nice job backing up Brooke Eden on this song. They never take away from a guest vocalist. And how cool did they all look dressed in the western theme. Reminded me of the Clint Eastwood spaghetti western movies I used to watch.

So good to see you back, Mike! You’ve been missed. I could have sworn I left a comment on one the last videos somewhere letting you know about the vinyl release of Sounds of Lockdown. I didn’t know about your IG page. I’m so glad you snagged one before they ran out. They actually released an alternate version of the same album. The actual album is white and the cover is totally different. Now to your reaction. I was a little worried you may not be crazy about this one since they have Brooke (or any other guest performer) with them because you love to hear Home Free and they tend to let their guests take the spotlight (that’s a good things, though).

Brooke has a fantastic voice for this song. I'm so sorry you have such a hard time when they guys let others take more of the lead. Did you cut your hair off, I have been trying to figure it out. Always enjoy watching your reaction to the guys.

Never liked this song. It's just chorus after chorus after chorus.... Still don't like it, but they slayed it. Great harmonies, as usual. Brooke's voice works with them very well. And Adam killed it, as usual.
