I know Tim is the bass of the group, but can we please give some appreciation to Adam Chance for when he takes over the bass line he has such a rich tone across his range very impressive and some respectable low notes hit as well 😀

It's actually a technique we bass singers use to hold a specific ending of a word without losing the note during the vocal fry. It's nice to do because then you don't have to drop to a subharmonic or a growl and have as much air as possible

Everyone went for the criminal look except for Rob. He looks more like a cuddly custodian in the jumpsuit. Adam takes the win for the most criminal look, with Tim a close second. Chase rocks the lead and is AMAZING! And Tim gets a spotlight moment with a basement bass note that will curl your toes! Then he gives that look that says, "Yeah, I just did that."

So, FPB is a wonderful combination of the train song and the prison song with a complete disregard for continuity. What I really appreciate about Home Free's cover is something I haven't heard anyone else mention. What a great job you guys did on creating the sound of a mournful train to enhance that portion of the song. From Rupp's chuffing and clicks of a steam engine and mournful wail of the harp (even chugging across the screen), to Brown's toots and wail of the whistle, I felt that train rolling down the tracks. I thought you should know that someone noticed. Well done, gentlemen.

Great job guys! Just a note of appreciation for all of you that many of the reaction video people are missing in their comments. I live right beside a train tressal and EVERYONE is missing the train details in this cover. The horn blowing, the rhythmic bop-bops of the train on the track, etc. Best part is Adam’s subtle chugging during Tim’s last solo line….SPOT ON! Nobody has commented on that! Another thing everyone is missing is the sound of Adam cocking the gun in the “don’t ever play with guns” line. That line was brilliant the way you all did it! Just bought our Q&A tickets for the Shipshewana show. We’ll be coming in from south-central Ohio. Can’t wait for July 1st! My husband finally gave in and said he would come with me this time (he doesn’t like crowds), but asked me to pass on a message: “They need to give me some Gene Autry or Roy Rogers! Lol. Lynn Prince someone correct me if I’m wrong but vocal fry is when you pop your vocal folds together and subharmonic singing is when you vibrate your vocal fold along with your false folds. Basically you are vibrating your normal vocal chords and frying at the same time, which creates a fundamental frequency lower than the pitch you are singing. It is an extremely hard technique and often sounds very similar to vocal fry, but it sounds more open and full

Gentlemen, as a musician, a Johnny Cash fan, I will say, the composition was really exciting. Watching each of you individually and then just listening to the song without watching the video. This is really well done. Looking forward to getting the COVID over so we can come see this one live. Great Job gentlemen.

God Bless the USA on July 4th, 2020, for me. Hooked. Never heard of them before that/don't listen to country music/stations. MayDay is fave - love how ship sinking parallels with tanking of relationship, complete with "foghorn"! Ring of Fire is 2nd fave. Hard to choose. Seven Bridges Road, Constant Sorrow, In the Blood, so many many great ones! Wish they'd do some Righteous Brothers classics.

Home Free Gang/Crew roles: Austin: Face and resident charmer of the group, the one that generally cases where they hit and who they roll Rob: Accountant/inside man, helps case locations since he's the friendliest-looking Chance: Contacts/muscle, knows at least one guy in damn near every city worth hitting and gets them a lay of the land Adam: Wheelman/psychopath, just as likely to kill you with his car as he is to actually drive you, does Uber/Lyft to stay sharp Tim: Boss/secondary muscle, won't hesitate to make an example of the guard or two that decide they wanna be a hero
