I just saw on HF's FB acct that we now have a NEW tenor in the group - Adam Bell-Bastien. I cannot wait! Like many others, I first saw them on the Sing Off (same for Pentatonix). I bought a couple of their CD's & finally saw them in person a couple of months ago.

This is a Tm original. It is so very beautiful. They did it years ago and this a remake. I started listening to Home Free in 2013. I did not know who they were, and they played at the Cedar County fair in Tipton, IA which I did not get to see. As I said I did not know who they were. I checked them out on You Tube and immediately fell in love! I am a Home Fry for life and an Austinite for life. Love your reaction!

This is a Tim Original They just announced the new member his name is Adam Bastien. Bastien is a former member of Home Free back when the group was first formed. His first time on stage with the group will be at The Grand Ol Opry July 31 .There are now going to be 3 Adam's in the group. I started following Home Free in 2013 when they were on the Sing Off

I absolutely love their originals. I've only recently discovered them, about two months ago, but I instantly fell in love with their music. The discovery itself was through Peter Hollens through his collaborations with Tim Foust (Misty Mountains and Sound of Silence) and then I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For he did with Home Free. After that, I checked out their channel and the rest is history.

Hubby tried to make me listen to Elvira, but I resisted. (I often don't care for some of his music selections, hence the resistance. ) Then he sent a link for Flowers On The Wall. Well, I just had to make sure the bassist (Tim) didn't mess up Harold Reid's (RIP) bass part. Tim nailed it. And slowly down the rabbit hole I went. (I'll admit that I wasn't very familiar with KZfaq at that time.) That was May 2020. I now own 6 CDs 💿, been to three concerts, watch reactors react to HF, and listen to HF every day. And this is a person who's favorite sound is the sound of silence. 😂

I discovered Home Free when they performed on The Sing Off. Their season was the first I watched, with my teenage daughter. We both became huge fans and were pulling for them from the opening night onward. Also saw VoicePlay in that season, but they were forgettable, with a mix that didn’t suit them. They’ve gotten SO much better!

I discovered Hime Free in 2018 and heard "End of the Road". I 've been listening ever since. I didn't know they wete on The Sing-Off until later. I watched Season 2 when Street Corner Symphony was on, and was surprised and happy that Adam Chance had joined Home Free. I saw them live March 2023 in Chatanooga TN on my birthday and they were amazing!

I've been following them for about 5 years. First song that caught my ear was "Try Everything" but favorite is probably "My Church". Saw them in concert last year and it was amazing. Love your reactions. Keep it up!

Such a good song. Sweet lyrics too. Tim can write a good one. He wrote this before he joined Home Free. I was unaware of Home Free until the pandemic til I found them on KZfaq. I listen to them everyday now. Love them and their voices have spoiled me to other groups. When I listen to other groups I think ewww they can’t carry a tune (even though there are some good groups out there). Home Free’s harmonies are the best. Good one Red!😍😃

Great reaction, Red! I had never heard of Home Free before the pandemic. I started watching reaction videos in 2020 or 2021 and saw Man of Constant Sorrow. I was immediately hooked and 'signed on' as a Home Fry. I've seen them live and plan on seeing them again if they appear close by again.

I'd been aware of them from the beginning back in 2000/1 but never had the opportunity to see a show, I re-found them in 2013 Sing off and have been hooked ever since

This is such a beautiful original song from Tim. He is a wonderful songwriter. This song was originally on Tim's solo album before joining Home Free called "The Best That I Could Do". Nice to see it redone with Home Free. Love Adam's percussion!

Found them 3 or 4 years ago via one of Austin's solo works - At Last. It showed up in my feed one day and I couldn't believe that this young guy could do it justice. By the end my brain said "What the hell just happened? Who is this guy?" And from there it was full speed ahead on his solo stuff and Home Free - and so many more like Chris Rupp's solo stuff, 7th Ave, Jeffrey East, The Hound and the Fox. So much good stuff.

@@pastelcarnations I doubt it, The new guy I believe will tour with them but Austin will too through the fall and said he would still occasionally work with them. Time will tell but I think the new guy will be fine. It only creates one issue, there will now be 3 Adams in the group lol.

Category file - Fav! This one isn't new - but a remake! A simple search on this platform reveals Tim's promo tour -- LIVE performance (radio)... and it's so so good. Even HF's (studio) version (early) is crazy good, my 1st listen btw... then found Tim's solo (before HF). Discovered HF about November of 2015 I think --- been obsessed since, and I AIN'T MAD ABOUT IT!!! Had to see it for myself (

This is a great Tim Foust original. I first saw them on The Sing-Off but I really started following them while recovering from an accident. It was How Great Thou Art and is still my all time favorite song of theirs.

I also have followed HF since the sing off. I've accumulated most of their CDs and almost didn't buy my new car because it came without a player. None do anymore. Thanks for covering them so well. You are a beautiful alternative from most.

I just got a portable CD player and put it in and have all the songs on MP3 player to plug in for the extra long trips. One of my cars only has AM radio so I am just SOL.

I first heard them prolly late 2017? Not sure but the first video I saw/song I heard was Man Of Constant Sorrow with Chance. So I know it was 2017 or later, but long before Covid. I was instantly hooked and have not looked back. I've seen them live three times and listen to them whenever I can. Thanks for reacting to them!! #HomeFree

I found Home Free in Nov 2016. A “Legendary Vocals” (Peter Hollens) post came across my facebook feed with a caption something like “most beautiful harmonies you’ll ever hear”. I was curious and clicked on the post. The harmonies were indeed gorgeous. I started watching video after video of them on KZfaq and have been an avid follower ever since.

Red, I'm still trying to figure you out. Because of my age and where I live I've had many opportunities to see top level bands at the top of they're game. My eclectic taste in music allowed me to experience many artists from all sorts of genres, from Ike and Tina Turner to Pink Floyd and numerous concerts of Emmy Lou Harris, Bonnie Raitt and others. A good portion of them you probably never heard of and to list them all would need more than I can write here. I did think you were kidding about it being free to sign up, obviously I continued to check in on you even after I removed my sub. I'm interested in where your journey takes you, I'm unable to send tips or coffee so I stopped making suggestions. So I'll see how far off the beaten path you stray before hitting the subscribe button. Just know that I'm watching you...I haven't given up on you. 🌹

I do like Home Free and they are absolutely brilliant at what they do. But, I do prefer Pentatonix's range of songs. Home Free's do tend to be fairly similar, genre wise. At least what I've heard. As I say though they are still great.
